A day out (2)

The next day, Seraphina feels as though a lively large dog is constantly bouncing around the house; wherever she looks, she sees his wagging tail. "Could you win a lycanthrope sports championship with that jump?" she jests.

They talk about the sports events held for lower levels, including swimming and javelin throw. Seraphina vaguely remembers watching human sports events as a child, but since she started working on the third level, she hasn't paid much attention and has never seen a lycanthrope sports event.

Linden hesitates to say the events aren't very "civilized"; they can get chaotic with each lycanthrope excelling in different areas. It's understood that aggressive lycanthropes might fight if they lose, making the events more about brute force than sportsmanship.
