Mo Shike watched as Anran got into the car. He turned back, glancing casually at Charlie, a cold glint flashing in his eyes.
"Charlie, if you stay here, you have to follow my rules. Or they should be your rules too, right? In your eyes, or should I say, in the eyes of your Second Master, is Anran the kind of woman who cannot be trusted? That she would easily change her feelings for someone or do something dishonest just by riding in the same car with me?"
The first part of his sentence was a threat and the second part was soaked in sarcasm.
Did he not understand Charlie's intentions, watching over them so closely?
"What are you insinuating? What do you mean my Second Master doesn't trust the Second Madam? Who she is, nobody knows better than my Second Master. He is just worried about her safety. And you, Mo Shike, this isn't your country. Don't talk as if you can do whatever you want here!"
Charlie was not one to be trifled with and his face changed instantly.
