Lecture About Intents

As the shadow grew, creases formed on his temples, and he lifted his head. With furrowed white brows, he stared at the large bird soaring around the mountain.

Shaking his head, he continued sweeping. "That brat," Old Li muttered to himself, his lips curling upward.

The bird swooped down, resulting in a gale that took the dirt back to where Old Li had swept. A 3-meter-tall, beautiful bird landed, opened her beak, and munched on the dried meat a man threw into her mouth.

Li Chen appeared behind the old man, leaned forward, and spoke so his words would appear before Old Li.

Before Li Chen could react, the broomstick struck his head twice, and Old Li brushed his left leg with ease, causing him to fall on his knees.
