'Two weeks!' 

Panic flashed through his eyes as he thought of a means to deal with their soon-to-be-asked questions.

"Chen-er, are you okay?" Xiao Xun caressed his arms, concern lingering in her eyes. 

"Doctor Xun, we need to do some tests." A doctor said making Li Chen's eyes slowly widen.

There might have been changes to his physique and letting this world know about them would prove disastrous.

Hurriedly grabbing Xiao Xun's wrist with both hands, he dragged her closer. "I'm alright. I don't need any more tests."

Xiao Xun glanced at him and then back at the doctor's. When she turned to him again, his eyes caught her attention.

His irises had grown darker and would soon depart from being brown. They gained not just color change but a mysterious depth.

There was something threatening within his eyes, like a piercing object poking her eyes! Despite the unnatural beauty, that feeling made her move backwards.
