Jamie was confused when he saw the five students at his high school with his brother. When he asked Hansel about it, he got a vague reply.
The thing is, he only gets a vague reply whenever Hansel is trying not to hide something.
The next day...
While he was going through his normal morning routine of being punctual to school and ignoring his ex-girlfriend's plea to take her back, he saw a certain goth girl sitting in class with a book on her face.
'Where have I seen her?' he thought
The goth girl, Annabelle, noticed Jamie when he entered the classroom. Plus the fact that he's been staring at her for nearly five minutes while standing.
This is making her heart beat fast as well as blush a little, fortunately, her makeup was covering up her blush.
A lot of people like Jamie for his friendly behavior and extroverted enthusiastic attitude, so it's no surprise that she too has a bit of a crush on him as well, but she doesn't want to be stared at like that.
"Is there a problem?" she asked after composing herself.
Jamie frowned a bit. "I know you!" he exclaimed, startling her. He then walked up to her. "I'm Jamie, I'm the guy from yesterday," he said smiling at her.
She blinked at him a few times. This is not how she imagined their first real conversation would be.
"Hi," she said in a monotone voice, attempting to place her book back to her face, but Jamie stopped her.
"I know this book... My brother also owns one of these," he said.
"Brother?" she said in surprise.
"The other guy from yesterday..."
'They are siblings!' Annabelle thought, her mouth opening slightly agape. How on Earth, did the Demon General have a sweet brother such as Jamie? "I did not expect that," she said slowly.
"So you know him?" he said smiling.
"Not really," Annabelle said, which isn't a lie, but it also isn't the truth either. "He helped me and my friends when we were in a sticky situation and we simply wanted to thank him," she said.
"Is that so?" he asked, and Annabelle believed he must surely know something about his brother being the villainous Demon General and knew he couldn't possibly be that nice, but it shocked her to see him wiping a tear.
"I'm so glad he's being helpful," he said smiling happily. "First, he's got a boyfriend, and now he's helping people... He's finally opening up to society again."
"I don't feel like you should be telling me your brother's business," she said uncomfortably. 'This is the first time we're talking to each other!' she thought.
"Right," Jamie said sounding a bit embarrassed. "What's your name?" he asked her.
"Annabelle," she replied.
"Nice name," he said then smiled kindly at her. 'She looks cool to hang around,' he thought.

"Saw you with Jamie this morning," the nerd boy, Mike, said while they were headed to the library for lunch.
"Yeah... We talked," Annabelle replied.
"Good for you," Mike said, congratulating her.
"He's my friend and the Demon General's younger brother," she added.
"You're joking," he said not believing her.
"When have I ever joked?" she asked glaring at him.
Mike felt a sweat drop. "Well you could always try it once," he said jokingly. "So do you plan on telling Claudia of your findings" he asked, talking about the soul that she is in a contract with.
"If I tell her, she will force us to capture him to force the Demon General to release us from the familiar contract," Annabelle replied.
"And that isn't good because--"
"Because he is as clueless as a golden retriever with a demon for a brother," she said.
"Golden Retriever?"
"You wouldn't get it."
Entering the library, they saw the rest of their group. They sat in their respective places. "They would come again after school," the rich boy, Finn, said once they sat down. And to be honest, I'm becoming fed up with sharing my mind and body with a magic man from another dimension," he said.
"That's what we get for following the creepy goth girl and her sus bf to an underground cult," the skater boy, Hudson, said playing around with a pen.
Annabelle cleared her throat, annoyed. "Excuse me, but this goth girl had no idea she was being led to a cult that dealt with making deals with souls from another dimension," she said hitting the table angrily.
"He didn't say it was your fault," the tall muscular boy, Brick, said, trying to stop them before they began fighting. He gave Hudson a scary gaze. "It's not her fault," he said in a warning tone.
"Well, Annabelle here got something to say to us," Micheal said looking at Annabelle.
She looked at him in disbelief. "What you are not going to tell them too?" he asked, when he didn't see her responding he rolled his eyes. "Well, our dearest friend, her was approached by Jamie today," he said smiling.
Everyone looked at Annabelle in surprise and Brick quietly clapped for her. "Don't clap!" Finn said. "We don't know his link with that guy so her life might be in--"
"They are siblings," Annabelle said blankly.
The three of them froze. "Wha?" they all exclaimed at the same time. "That's the one plot twist none of us thought would happen," Brick said.
"Is he also dangerous?" Hudson asked.
"He's as clueless as a golden retriever with a demon for a brother," Mike said repeating what Annabelle had said to him.
"You don't have to add that part too," Annabelle said pinching the bridge of her nose. "Anyway," she said. "He also attended this school... He graduated before we transferred here, so we never got the chance to see him."
"You know so much," Mike said teasingly.
"Jamie adores his brother to the core," she said. "I asked a little question about him and he's spilling everything out."
"But he doesn't know of his past identity as the Demon General," Hudson said.
"That's unlikely," she replied.
After a while of silence, Brick said, "You know they would try to use him to--"
"I know... But I believe the Demon General wouldn't allow anything happen to his younger brother," she said.
