In the city's sewers, several demons from the Demon clans in the Abyssal Realm were transported here for a single mission.
To kill the Demon General.
The spider demon got rid of her human disguise and climbed the walls of the sewers to her web.
"You took quite a while outside, Pok," the succubus said. Her tail wagging slowly. She had dark purple skin red eyes, and long horns poking out of her forehead.
She barely had any clothes on except for a piece of cloth around her loin. She smelled the delicious scent and smirked.
"Oh, what do you have there?" The succubus said she wanted to climb the web, but couldn't because she would be trapped by the sticky web and would probably be Pok's next prey.
"None of your business," Pok said with hostility.
None of the Demon Clans got along with each other. They weren't planning on getting along with each other.
This was a competition to know which clan had the strongest warrior in the Abyssal Realm by killing the infamous Demon General.
The succubus sneered. 'She's keeping delicious food all to herself,' she thought. 'The spiders of the Malevolence tribe are so selfish.'
She analyzed the smell and realized it was from someone alive. 'So she hasn't found the prey yet,' she thought and smirked. Leaving with her tail swinging slowly.
'Stealing them will be easy.'

Jamie woke up in the middle of the night and saw Neil sleeping next to him. "What--" He got up and felt a headache.
He smacked Neil, hard to wake him.
"Ow!" Neil groaned in pain. "What was that for?
"Why are you in my bed?" Jamie exclaimed.
"I don't know," Neil replied, rubbing where Jamie had hit him. "We were kidnapped by some crazy magic man and I was knocked out?"
"Oh..." Jamie said, remembering what happened. But he doesn't remember what happened after Neil was knocked out and Felix told him he wanted to speak with him.
"'What happened afterwards ' he thought. "So you know the guy that kidnapped us?" Neil asked.
"Yeah, he kidnapped me once," Jamie said causally.
Neil looked surprised. "What?" He exclaimed worriedly. "When did this happen? Did the police ever get involved?"
"It happened not too long ago," Jamie said, trying to remember when. "But it doesn't matter; Hansel saved me," he said, shrugging it off.
Neil blinked a few times in disbelief. "What? Shouldn't you guys be calling the police or something, so something like this doesn't happen again?"
"I highly doubt the police would be able to do anything," Jamie said. "They are a cult filled with people possessed with magical beings from another world," he said.
"We were kidnapped by an angel possessing Annabelle's body," he explained.
Neil looked at Jamie like he was talking to a mentally unstable person. He touched his forehead. "Did that guy hit your head too hard?" He asked worriedly.
Jamie slapped his hand away. "I'm fine," he said in annoyance.
"Then what are you saying?" Neil shouted word for word. "Do expect me to believe all that?"
"No," Jamie replied. "I'd also think you were crazy if you told me," he said casually and uncaring. He got out of bed and went to the door opening it.
"Where are you going?" Neil asked him.
"To get something to eat, I'm starving," Jamie replied and Neil got up after him.
When they got to the living room, everyone present in the living room turned at the same time.
The demons were all sitting casually while watching TV, while Astrea stood in the dark, almost trying to make herself look invisible.
"You're awake," Lilith said, stating the obvious.
Varrine walked out of the circle, looking concerned. "Are you alright?" she asked him. "Does your head hurt at all?"
'They live with Jamie and his brother?' Neil thought in surprise.
"I'm fine," Jamie said smiling gently. "Just hungry."
Minos was next getting out of the line. "I can get you something from the fridge," he said sprinting to the kitchen.
"Get for two, please!" Neil shouted while Minos was running and everyone looked at him.
"You're awake as well," Lilith said.
Neil felt nervous being stared at like this. There was an unexplainable feeling of danger like his senses were screaming at him to run. "Hi?" He waved quietly.
"You're awake as well," Lilith said calmly nodding.
"Get food for two, Minos," Jamie said nervously, also feeling this danger.
"Sure," Minos said and walked to the fridge.
"I don't think your family likes me very much," Neil whispered in his ear.
"They don't like most people," Jamie said reassuringly. 'They tried to kill me the first time,' he thought.
"So where's my brother?"
"Left to have a conversation with the God Killer on what to do with her," Beel said, pointing at Astrea, who was successfully invisible until she was pointed out.
"Who--"
"Your kidnapper," Beel replied.
'We were kidnapped by a cute girl,' Neil thought in surprise.
Then Hansel and Nathan appeared in the middle of the living room.
"You're awake," Hansel said happily and wanted to hug Jamie but saw all the snacks in his hands.
Neil's mouth opened agape in surprise. "Your friend is awake, too," Hansel said, and a magic circle appeared next behind Neil, but shattered before it had any effect.
Understanding what Hansel wanted to do, a golden magic circle appeared in front of Neil but also shattered.
Nathan frowned a bit. 'My magic no longer works on him,' he thought.
Jamie saw what was going on and asked. "What are you guys trying to do?"
Neil, too, saw the golden magic circle and was stunned. "What was that?"
Hansel looked at Neil like he was an abomination. He walked towards him and observed him closely. "Magic doesn't seem to affect you at all," he said.
"What were you guys trying to do?" Jamie demanded.
"Erase his memories," Nathan replied, now glaring are Neil with how close Hansel was to him.
Neil was uncomfortable with how his brother was staring at him. "Wh- why aren't you home, wouldn't mom and dad be worried?" he stammered.
"They wouldn't notice because we're technically home," Nathan replied crossing his arms.
Neil was confused. In fact, this whole situation is confusing. "I think I need an explanation of what is going on!" He exclaimed now freaking out.
Neil was taken to Jamie's bedroom to talk. It was a long explanation and Neil didn't seem to understand much.
"So you mean to tell me you two," he said, pointing at Nathan and Hansel, "are powerful and feared war criminals in a universe where there's magic and a bunch of demons and angels are trying to kill you?" he said, confused.
"I was merely a demon general," Hansel said pointing to himself.
"I wouldn't classify myself as a war criminal," Nathan said blankly.
"I am so confused," Neil said. "So what are you guys doing in this world? Did you kill your doublegangers and replace them so you could hide here?" He asked them suspiciously.
"I committed suicide and reincarnated here as a normal human being," Hansel replied answering his questions patiently.
"I reincarnated here as well," Nathan replied. 'I don't understand why we have to answer his questions,' he thought feeling annoyed.
"You were killed?" Neil said covering his mouth in horror.
"No," Nathan replied, glaring at him again because Hansel was looking at Neil in fascination.
"Do you the extent of his nullification ability?" Hansel asked Nathan.
"He can nullify magic attacks from gods and artefacts," Nathan replied. 'Is this a ploy to get me jealous?" he thought. 'If it is, then it working far too well.'
Neil saw his brother's jealousy and smirked. 'Never thought I'd see him jealous,' he thought feeling happy.
Meanwhile, Jamie was trying to speak to Astrea in the living room but she didn't speak, and it was just awkward for Jamie. He couldn't help but ask, "Am I troubling you?"
"Why are talking to me?" Astrea replied quietly.
"I just felt like talking to you," Jamie replied being friendly.
Astrea sneered at him, turning away. "I don't want your pity," she said.
"I'm not talking to you out of pity," he responded.
The demons were concentrated on what they were watching, but they weren't deeply immersed in it, checking every once in a while in case something went wrong, as Jamie had begged not to disturb.
"What do you want then?" Astrea asked impatiently.
"Just to talk. To know how you're doing."
"I'm fine," she said snarkily, "happy?"
Jamie frowned a bit. 'It's obvious she's not alright,' he thought and trying to force her to tell him what was wrong might upset her more.
Jamie was about to give up trying to have a normal conversation with her when he heard her mutter something.
"Did you say something?"
Astrea seemed to have realized she wasn't heard the first time, so she took a deep breath and repeated what she had said. "I'm sorry for kidnapping you."
Jamie smiled at her. "You're forgiven, but I'm not the only one you should be apologising to, though," he said.
Astrea's dark eyes seemed to have brightened a bit when she heard she was forgiven, but she didn't believe it. No one can forgive being kidnapped that easily.
'I'm going to do whatever it takes for him and the Demon General to forgive me,' she thought fiercely and determined.
