Rudolph knocked on my door just a few minutes after Klaus's departure. He had arrived with two maids, and together they got to arranging my clothes and necessary items needed for the visit tomorrow. We were only staying a day, yet they had packed a whole suitcase, and I really didn't know how to stop them.
Afterwards, I took a stroll to the garden before finally ending up at the library. It was really boring in the castle whenever Klaus was not around, and I just couldn't get used to the loneliness. Although I had built some friendly relationships with most of the female helpers in the castle, they couldn't leave their work at all times to keep me company. And the one person who I considered a true friend, family even, wanted nothing to do with me at the moment.
