Ever since Klaus said those three words to me, I haven't been to reason perfectly. It had been three days since he spoke the words, and I still didn't know how to feel about it. We had definitely gotten fond of each other, and were intimate on several occasions, but I couldn't really say that it was love. I definitely felt something for him, but compared to what Mark and I had, what I felt for Klaus at the moment paled in comparison.

Perhaps it was because I had spent all my life loving Mark, while Klaus and I had just recently begun to get cozy with one another.
