Happy...

Klaus

It was already ten minutes past the agreed time, and I was gradually getting tired of sitting in my car all day. However, I knew that Aiden wouldn't let me inside the house, not until Lisa was home. He wasn't afraid of me, and it was probably due to the fact that he had spent the majority of his life in the human realm. If he knew how much power an Alpha possessed compared to the likes of him, he would be cowering in fear at the sight of me.

After twenty more minutes of waiting, Lisa's silhouette finally came into view, and only then did I alight from the vehicle.

"You kept me waiting for twenty minutes, and you still won't let me see him beyond our agreed time?" I complained, but Lisa's expression remained indifferent.

"It's not my fault that I got held up in traffic. Forty minutes is still enough, isn't it?" She returned with a cold and nonchalant look on her face before knocking on the door.
