On the tragic day he was born, he brought a curse with him, that’s what everyone told him, and that’s why everyone hated him. Growing up he had never felt happiness. The abuse and loneliness made him hate his pack, his own people, but a promise to his mother kept him chained there, unable to be free.
“My poor Astor, please help your brother become a good leader. My lovely child, forgive me” she had pleaded before she left him. He would always do as he was told, stay silent, and obey trying to not lose the last bit of family he had, the little purpose in his life until even his own family betrayed him. The brother he had tried so hard to support had thrown him away, leaving him in a place he did not know with a man that scared him, hovering over him like a deadly beast. 

“I must truly be cursed.” He had cried, wishing for his life to end. 
“You? Cursed? How can someone as beautiful as you be cursed?” the man told him and from that moment on his whole life changed.

<p>Ren's company was located downtown a part of a skyscraper complex. Tall buildings, hundreds of floors tall made with glass glistened under the sunlight during noon. The Alpha of the crimson Nightwalkers owned one of these enormous pieces of metal, the name of his company at the entrance while a luxurious car was parked there as an attraction. </p>

<p>He followed Niss and Nash, dressed in his nicest suit, something that the woman had specifically requested, as they entered the lobby. The company had a minimalistic but very luxurious touch to it. The lighting was white, slightly harsh and it felt a bit cold above their heads while the reception was wide with three girls sitting behind the tall counter dressed in tailored dresses. Black with red details like the buttons on the cuffs of their sleeves. </p>
