A Devilish Plan

Astor and Nash were driving for hours, sitting in silence into the night. The white-haired man had nothing to say, nothing to share as he was trying to ignore the emptiness on his chest, the feeling that he had just done something horrible. No matter how many hours passed he couldn't get Ren's expression out of his mind, the way his golden eyes showed pain, how he stood there frozen, devastated even. The person who had told him so many lies dared to look like that, to be the cause of such guilt.

He had turned on and off the radio repeatedly, trying to find something that would take his mind off of things. Love songs, station after station he would hear about star-crossed lovers, stupid cheating stories, and many more. All of them frustrated him and the last time he turned off the radio he had heard Nash chuckle.

"At this hour I don't think you will get to listen to anything else." Nash told him and Astor shook his head, defeated.
