Born a sickling and grew that way, Levi was never ready to bear the consequences and responsibilities of being the host to the construct that burrowed into his neck. Not only did it cure him from his lethal illness, it also granted him extreme abilities.

With schemes and lies holding up what's left of the planet, Levi has to suffer loss, anger and betrayal in his endeavour to avenge the murder of his father.

He had just learned that ever since Lexi had bonded with him, the construct stimulated every single hormone and system in his body, making it easier for him to feed and leading him, with a 90% probability, to act on any sudden emotions.

So, Levi's pursuit and brutal assault on Nate was due to Lexi's influence on his configuration. And thus, Brody's death wasn't entirely his fault; he had been driven by the stimulative hormones.

Why did Lexi portray Brody's death to be his fault?!

He swiftly pulled out his pocket knife and, without a second thought, plunged the blade into the back of his neck. Blood flowed immediately, and Levi felt a sharp pain, but he preferred Lexi to be out of him.

Nonetheless, he could still hear Lexi's voice.
