Won't Let Us Out

"I don't know what you're talking about, Sir," Levi responded quickly. "With all due respect, I'd like to leave now."

"Look, Levi," Sebastian said calmly. "I know this is all hard on you and trust me, I don't wish you to carry such burden." He tilted away from Levi. "Just give me a positive answer, son and we can go on with the procedures to return my construct." Sebastian continued, "Your father died with the knowledge on how to create the Comeet, if he hadn't, I wouldn't be disturbing you."

Levi stared deep into Sebastian's eyes. "I do not have what you seek, sir," he said the words singly.

Sebastian nodded and resumed his pacing. "You have given me a tough dilemma," he said. "The construct is smart, doing what it was designed to do."

Sebastian continued. "It knows I can't kill you, Levi. If I kill you, the construct perishes," Sebastian said. "I need you very much alive and healthy in fact."
