Levi hurried through the pouring rain, his eyes squeezed, slightly open enough to see where he was headed. His footsteps were being muffled by the heavy downpour and he was glad that they were. Trying to scurry stealthily to the main building without being spotted by a trooper would've been a difficult task without silent footsteps.

The all-familiar golden lights of the building beckoned him to arrive, but he had to be careful and calculated. With the help of Lexi, Levi regularly took cover behind occasionally positioned flight cases in the streets.

Taking a brief backward glance at the penthouse, he could see little commotion among the troopers commanded by Vanessa. He shifted his gaze to the building, calculating the distance and planning his dash to evade not only the troopers but also the other cleaning staff who were boarding night vans.
