"Status report now, Mr. Dunnam?" Commander Norlan, Box, asked as he stepped onto the inner bridge of Gravity Fall.
Dunnam lifted his head from his dashboard, briefly diverting his focus to answer his Commander. "We are approaching the Aarsidi system, sir," he replied, his fingers continuing their work. "We should be coming out of warp and slowing to impulse power for rendezvous approach in approximately seven point four minutes."
"That's very good, Mr. Dunnam," Box said, walking across the wide space of the cockpit, which provided enough room for the numerous pilots navigating the almighty and regal Gravity Fall. The major pilot was Dunnam—a 34-year-old survivor of the Aftermath, who had worked hard to get this role—but the other pilots were tasked with more precise navigation and combat system duties when needed.
