Marquess Daedalus snorted slightly, then sat back down before Melisa allowed him to. The man seemed to have seen something in Melisa. Therefore, Marquess Daedalus felt he didn't need to be too polite to Melisa anymore.

"I'm very busy, yes. But when someone accuses me of heinous crimes without clear evidence, I still need to free up my time so that the slander doesn't develop into something dangerous."
