Melisa Oda Cyrille, the only princess of the Kingdom of Cyrille, had been sent to the Kingdom of Sigmund as the bride-to-be of Crown Prince Alexius de Sigmund. The marriage was supposed to bring peace between the two kingdoms. But unfortunately, Alexius' heart had fallen for another girl long before Melisa came into his life.

The main palace was a place where all kinds of nobles gathered, as well as a place where gossip spread as fast as the wind. There were many things one could find out just by coming to the main palace. Melisa knows that. Therefore, she would occasionally visit the main palace just to enjoy the most beautiful gardens there.
