Preparations

When she got home, Ariana could tell that her grandfather had not returned when she didn't see the family carriage. When the maids saw that Ariana and Albert had returned with soaking wet clothes, they immediately prepared hot water for the two. Ariana immediately took a bath as the maids finished preparing her bath. With a new problem emerging, Ariana felt she needed to give her brain a break before she thought hard again.

Ariana didn't know how long she had been soaking. Only when the water she was using had cooled down did the girl finally come out and put on her home clothes. When Ariana came out, James was already at her door. Ariana had messaged James beforehand to let him know when her grandfather had come home from his business.

"His Grace is waiting for you in his study, Lady Aria."

"Alright. Thank you for telling me, James."
