Li Yong pushed the wooden table scraps away from him as he climbed to his feet. He coughed up a mouthful of blood but quickly swallowed it back down as he glanced around at the stunned soldiers who were watching. He didn't want to embarrass himself in front of them.

"I was going to let you off with just a warning since we're family. But now you've pissed me off." Li Yong muttered as his expression grew dark. He reached down to his hip and unsheathed his sword. Its long silver blade shimmered beneath the oil lamps.

"For attacking an officer in the Great Hao Imperial Army! I, Li Yong, sentence you to death!"

"Quickly! Restrain him!" Li Yong ordered as the room came to life once more. The stunned soldiers rose and prepared to restrain Li Jun, although it became quite clear that it wouldn't be easy.

Li Jun looked around at the approaching soldiers. One of them split up from the group and dashed forward, hoping to be the first to restrain him.
