"Qiao Shui! Who do you think you are, you arrogant bastard!" A young man in maroon robes stepped out from the remaining group that had yet to lay down their weapons.

Li Jun watched as the man stepped out from his group. His eyes widened slightly. It was the person he had scammed at the inn. He hadn't expected anyone from that group to make it this far into the examination, but he was wrong.

"Tai Zemin," the young man in black said as his gaze narrowed on the young man from the Tai family. I didn't think I would see you here."

"Ha," Tai Zemin let out a breath. He enjoyed the power his name held. "Brother Qiao, how about you let me and my friends go on behalf of our family relations?"

Qiao Shui grinned. "Of course, brother Tai, I can't possibly demand any tokens from you."

Tai Zemin turned back to his group and winked. He knew Qiao Shui well and took the opportunity to show off in front of his new friends.
