Fury's Howl.

The campfire crackled outside the tent as Li Jun rocked back and forth in his hammock. He didn't feel tired. He could hear the peaceful and rhythmic breaths of the others in his group as they slept through the darkness; however, there was something he had to do.

He waited for what seemed like an eternity until the others were asleep and he unbuttoned his tent, stepping out into the cold and misty air. He saw his breath despite the heat from the fire a few meters away.

He strode out into the darkness and looked around.

"You can come out now." He muttered.

A dark shadow emerged from the darkness. It's fur as black as the night sky above and its eyes glowing monstrously as the waist high creature stalked its way toward him.

Li Jun's eyes grew wide as he looked at the size of the monster. He had caught sight of it earlier in the day. It was now time to confront it.
