If the smell was overpowering, the feeling that ran through Li Jun's veins as the powder dissolved and slid down his throat was otherworldly. It felt as though his spirit core had grown arms and was desperately trying to rip through his flesh and climb out between his ribcage. 

It was an odd sensation, but along with it came a significant increase in his cultivation. While it wasn't enough to place him directly into the eighth stage, he felt his body grow just a little bit lighter, his muscles becoming slightly stronger.

'What is this?' He asked himself. He knew lots of pills, and he could determine their effects based on their ingredients. However, it seemed that what other ingredients were in the pill also canceled the effects of the familiar ones.
