"You, come with me." Chief Bao said as he gripped the young boy by his arm and dragged him towards a broken and splintered wooden cart. He tossed the boy into the back and climbed up to the front bench.
Three wolves with antlers sticking out of their heads waited patiently as the man lifted the reins that were tied around their necks and gave them a firm pull. The wolves began to walk, picking up pace as the carriage rolled forward.
The boy in the back skidded across the rough wooden planks as the wolves broke into a sprint. The carriage bounced around wildly, his head thudded against a barrel of rum that was being taken as a gift for the war party.
"Kin." Chief Bao shouted.
The young boy stood promptly, trying his best to prevent himself from tumbling over the edge of the carriage.
"Drink." Chief Bao demanded.
