Targeting a Big Customer?

After a few hours.

Mystic Treasures Emporium. Wilben City.

Creak!

The door of the private cabinet emitted a slight creak as it swung open, revealing a tall, scrawny figure stepping out. This was none other than Cheyun Min – the alternate identity Aksai had adopted for his bulk transactions in Wilben City.

Aksai turned, exchanged a few perfunctory words with Juyee, offered a courteous bow, and then departed from the Mystic Treasures Emporium. He swiftly blended into the bustling crowd, leaving no trace behind.

'This man… he is complicated.'

Juyee mused to herself, her emotions swirling with complexity. In just two hours, she had conducted enough transactions with Aksai to match what she typically made in a month, even with numerous high-profile customers.

'Perhaps he struck lucky in the inheritance ground exploration. Cheyun Min, huh? I've never heard that name before.

He doesn't appear on the recent lists of explorers compiled by either the Lakir or Wilben families. Nor have I come across any overt or covert rumors regarding an explorer by that name.

Could it be a fabricated identity? But the identity-revealing Array Formation didn't trigger any warning. Is he really a drifting cultivator who just happened to be in Ragui County?'

Juyee pondered, her mind filled with questions about Aksai's mysterious background.

As someone closely associated with the Wilben family, the Mystic Treasures Emporium kept tabs on all kinds of news related to the inheritance grounds and its explorers.

Those who had struck it big couldn't hide their identities for long because of the way the intelligence network of both families worked. Plus, greed was one of the most driving factors behind one's identity revelation after their initial success in the inheritance ground.

Yet, there was an unknown outlier like Aksai who just happened to possess all the premium-grade cultivation resources, which one could only cultivate in an isolated domain like the wondrous inheritance ground located at the boundary between the two counties – Wuyum County and Ragui County.

The entire transaction process lasted for more than two hours. Even after purchasing many items at supposedly exorbitant prices, Aksai still had 800 spirit stones as pure tangible profit.

This was all because the cultivation resources he had produced had fetched him a considerable amount of money, which he couldn't spend even after acquiring many premium and expensive items from the Mystic Treasures Emporium.

Juyee was very impressed with Aksai's accumulation, looking at him with envy and greed. There was also a hint of lust born within her as a manifestation of her previous emotions.

Juyee was in the 9th stage of the Spirit Refining realm and was 40 years old. Therefore, she had a small chance to establish her foundation if she worked hard and found her chances before reaching the deadline of 50 years, giving her around 10 years to utilize all kinds of treasures to achieve Spirit Refining Perfection.

Although the chance was slim, Juyee didn't want to give up. She realized that the discussion of her marriage, which she had been putting on the back burner, could be leveraged to work in her favor instead. She decided to use her maidenhood as one of the bargaining chips.

Juyee bit the bullet and started expressing her interest in Aksai. She even invited him for tea at her place and sightseeing in Wilben City during her off hours.

This was her first time actively seeking companionship with a fellow cultivator. However, as a cultivator who trained her mind, body, and spirit, she thought that she was pretty natural at it when she hinted at Aksai for a prospect of companionship.

The man was rich and loaded. He had many rare cultivated treasures with him. If she was not wrong, he might still have many of them in his storage ring that he didn't bother or dare to take out. If she were to make such a man her companion, her chances of breaking into the 2nd realm would increase by a lot.

As a late-stage Spirit Refining cultivator, Juyee knew that she looked good for her age. Plus, the scrawny man in front of her looked way older than her. Even if he were to have a wife and concubines already, she could add to the number and ride on his coattails.

However, Aksai just flatly refused each of Juyee's suggestions, blocking all her attempts to woo him. Listening to his blatant rejections, Juyee had a tough time maintaining her professionalism as one of the executives of the Mystic Treasures Emporium.

It was Aksai who took the efforts to bring the conversation back on track and made Juyee act as the professional she was.

Usually, he would have requested to change the executive, and the Mystic Treasures Emporium would have happily obliged. However, he didn't want to waste time. After all, Aksai needed to visit multiple places within Wilben City before leaving the city for good.

As such, Aksai made Juyee carry out the transactions, representing the Mystic Treasures Emporium. In exchange, he also offered her a sizable cut from his own end before leaving without providing her any way to contact him.

When Juyee was lost in her chain of thoughts, a voice came from her left. "Madam Juyee, who was that man?" Juyee turned in the direction of the voice and saw that it was none other than Haisha Lakir– the man Aksai often referred to as the mongoose in his mind.

"He… his name was Cheyun Min. He claimed that he was a drifting cultivator," Juyee straightened up her posture and tidied her hair as she replied. Her restless body language told Haisha that she was mentally not in the right state of mind.

"Cheyun Min? Was he a big customer?"

Haisha smiled at Juyee and asked in a low voice. He stood beside her and observed her attractive figure closely and couldn't help having some obscene thoughts in his mind. Yet, he controlled them and decided to ask her something important.

"Indeed," Juyee didn't pay close attention to Haisha's gaze and replied in a solemn voice.

"He… he had loads of rare 1st-order Spirit grasses and Spirit plants. What was surprising was the fact that all the cultivation resources he produced were either top-tier quality or supreme quality.

But that was not all. He–"
