Since the invigilator was there students started entering their classes.Joy eyes were on the entrance of their class. Though she was looking at the entrance but deep down she was revising all that she read. Zach was the last student to enter the class. He wore a rugged black jean trouser and a black T-shirt with beautiful colors on it. He was looking stunning and striking with his black combed hair. The whole class all had their eyes on him including the invigilator. After looking at him they looked at joy. Joy was wearing something different unlike her and so is Zach. It was as if they planned it all.Lisa came in with her crew and she was no exception from the surprise. She saw Zach and kissed him through the air

Zach didn't even bother to look at her . He just went to his sit and brought out his phone. The invigilator just watched what was going on. He totally forgot he was there to invigilate their exams.

The invigilator phone rang then it brought everybody back.

The invigilator picked his phone and attended to who was with him on the phone. After that he shared their questions booklet and gave their answer booklet. Then the exam begun.They had one hour thirty minutes for finish the paper the had been given.

Joy came out 35 minutes after they had been given the answer booklet. All eyes were on her including her friends. The questions were very hard with the sketch they gave them.She saw them looking at her then she quickly left the classroom and went to sit at the stairs. It was when an hour had passed that some students started coming out.That had two papers that day so they are leaving school early in order for them to prepare for prom. Zach came out and joy texted him.

"Canteen."

That was what he saw in his inbox. Just canteen. Maybe she wants him to come to the canteen he guessed. He started walking towards the canteen.

JOY'S POV

'I should text him in order to apologize to him about the other day. No. That would sound stupid. I need to tell him having face to face contact with him.' She texted him canteen and went there.She went to a bench on the canteen and quickly stood up.

'What will I tell him? Zach am sorry for the way I reacted yesterday and if my words... No. No no joy. That's a stupid speech. I must show some sincerity. Oh no. He's already coming!!' She composed herself and sat on a bench.

Zach saw joy on the bench and walked up to her.

"Hi" he said with a little smile in his lips.

Joy saw it and it gave her courage in giving the speech.

"Hey Zach."She responded and then lifted her head up.she looked into his eyes and said "I called you here to apologize to you for the other day. I overreacted because of the attention I got from the students. I've never gotten such

attention before and it made me kinda scared."She stopped and sat at the bench before she continued. Zach also came and sat close to her listening to very word she said.

"My mom works at a library and I have a little brother who attends high school. My dad.."Some tears gathered at her eye balls. She didn't want him to see her cry but she missed her dad.

"He passed away sometime ago that's why I entered orchid with the help of the online scholarship. When I saw it was orchid I hesitated before applying for it because it's for high class. So me having that much attention made me scared and I thought of my mom. If I get into trouble with Lisa concerning you I would not hesitate to leave orchid. Her family rules this university with their money and my mom..." She realized she had said so much about herself. She only wanted to apologize. She brought out her handkerchief and cleaned her tears.She turned to look at Zach and saw him staring her.

"Joy. It's okay about not wanting attention. Its neutral to everyone.About your dad am sorry and you don't have to apologize about you overreacting. Everyone does that. Just know I would be there for you whenever you need me. And for that to happen you have to be free with me. I'm not gonna hurt you or bite you if you do so OK?" Zach asked

"OK"she replied with a smile.

Zach stood up and said"now let's go write our exams!"

She nodded her head smiling and stood up.
