They both walked to their class with a little smile on their lips. Joy stood at the entrance of their class and told Zach to go ahead. She didnt want the students to think something stupid. Zach looked at her and chuckled. He held her wrist and and unknowingly to joy used a little force in dragging her into the class.

The students all had their eyes on both of them and they were shocked.

"What's going on?"

"Are they lovers?"

"Is that his new chic?"

"Don't tell me he chose her over Lisa?"

Those were the comment she heard from the students. Zach looked at her and gave her a' it's okay look.'She sighed and went to her desk.

Lisa was enraged. Sue just look at joy and snapped her finger.The invigilator came in and they commenced their exams.

AN HOUR LATER

They were all true with their exams and were walking out of their classes. All the students in orchid came out of their classes. Val walked up to joy at her sit.

"Are you not going home?" She asked

"I am. Just a sec." She quickly zipped her bag and they both walked out of their classes.

"J?"val called

"Yes"joy answered

"What's going on between you and Zach? I mean you guys came into the class with him holding your wrist. You are now the talk of the school j." val said with concern

Joy sighed and replied val"Val thanks a lot for your concern. I apologize to Zach about the other day and I decided to just be friends and nothing more. If there's something going on between us you would certainly be the first to know about it. And nothing would go on between us dear."

"Okay j. Now lets go home. I want to be the first to come out of the class like you did today."she said walking with a big smile on her face.

Joy just chuckled and followed her.

ZACH'S POV

He sat at the couch in his penthouse and was reading what they had the next day. But he suddenly remember how joy came out first. That really surprised him and he smiled

'Phone ringing'

Picked it up and saw mom on the screen.

"Hi mom"

"Hi son. How's college?" A fluent voice spoke from the other side

"It's good mum. How's dad?"He asked

"He fine. Son I heard prom is coming up at your college.So have you found a matching outfit with Lisa?"she asked calmly

"Mom why are you always bringing Lisa name up whenever you call? I don't have any feelings for Lisa. She is just a friend nothing more. And besides I don't like getting in a relationship now that I a not in my final year."He spoke respectfully to his mum.

"Son you have to accept Lisa. Your dad wants her for you.And she loves you dear. When you are done with your exams and prom please come home? She would be coming to have spend time with us." She said with deep concern

Zach took a deep sigh"mum I have exams tomorrow. Talk later."

"OK my love. Bye?"

"Bye"he said before the call ended.

MORNING

Students were already in school for their exams. They finshed super early. It was the second day for their exams.

"J? Are you heading home now?"

Joy turned to know who was talking to her. It was Zach.

"What's with the 'J'."she asked smiling

"Nothing actually. I heard one of your friends call you 'J' so I you know.."he trailed scratching his head.

"Its okay you could call me 'J'. It's fine by me.Am heading home now. Why ask?"

"I want to know your home"

"What!! Are you sure about that?"joy asked surprised

"Yes I am. Now lets get going." He said

"Hold on a sec Zach? I thought we had a date?" That was Lisa voice.

They both turned to know who was talking to Joy's surprise it was Lisa.

"Who had a date with you?"

"You and me Zach. Have you totally forgotten? And what are you doing with this this? I don't even have a word to use in classifying her." Lisa said holding Zach's hand

"Lisa stop. I never had a date with you. And she isn't someone you could classify with 'this'.She is my friend."Zach declared and removed her hand from his.

At that time students had already started gathering around them. Joy just stood there with her head down. She hated what was going on.she felt like screaming or crying or just running away from there.

"Oh Zach stop it. I know you just want to use her and dump her so stop this friend thing." She replied and went close to joy."You are a nobody to Zach right? We have a date so there's is now way you are entering his car. You are gonna use the bus you've always used."

Joy raised her head and saw Valerie, Maya and Jennifer. They rushed to joys side and defended her
