The Day Before It All Ends;

Then we both exchanged numbers and talked about space, we did share one thing in common atleast, I think things are going smoothly between us.. Or so I believe for now...

"So.? Let's sleep now Miyuki-san. " Yuuki then faces the other way.

"Mm. " I hear him rustling doing something.. I poke him and ask, "What are you doing?"

I look and see he's trying to get something. He replies, "Oh, my phone fell down..."

"Hmm.? And what were you doing on your phone? " I ask, teasing him.

"N-nothing.. you shouldn't know yet. " He was embarrassed.

"Hmm.. " I snatch his pbone and see something unexpected... He's trying to find my birthday.?

"I told you, you shouldn't know yet. "

I immediately give him back his phone blushing and cover myself under the covers.

"I'll just leave you be. " He says, sighing.

I don't respond and think to myself, "M-my birthday... Could it be he's gonna buy me something.? " Miyuki think!!! Why would he want to know your birthday but keep it a secret.?

I hear him slightly snoring.. "Is he asleep?" I thought to myself, checking on Yuuki.

"Yeah, he's asleep. " Relieved, I fell asleep as well.

Then, morning arrived, I couldn't bring myself to wake up. I then turn left and feel something touch - my lips. I open my eyes and see Yuuki, "Huh.? I just kissed Yuuki-kun. " I then pulled myself back shocked and embarrassed and thanking God he was asleep.

Then, he pokes my back and says, "I was awake, dummy. "

Filled with embarrassment, I stay silent and forcibly close my eyes, taking small glances at him as he looked at me laughing.

I accidentally fell asleep and woke up to Yuuki getting out of bed and hearing him greet my Mom outside.

I turned and switch sides since he wasn't there anymore and I felt something touching my thigh.

I forced myself to wake up and see what it was. When I saw it, my eyes widened in shock.

"W-What..? A Picture..? Of... Kaito-kun.? "

Thinking to myself, "How..? How does he have a picture of him...? "

Everything is a mysterious hoax to me now. This is all weird!

Then, Yuuki bursted through the door just to see me awake.

His eyes closed as he walked closer, and said, opening them, "So, you found out huh. "

I reply nervously, "F-Found what.? "

"Don't play dumb with me. You saw the picture didn't you. " He replied, seriously.

"Yes - No.. I didn't.. What Picture.? " It was lucky I hid it when I heard his footsteps running up the stairs.

"Hm. Forget about it. " He then quickly left the room.

I got out of bed, changed and went down for breakfast.

Yuuki was gone..?

I asked my Mother where he went and she said, "What.? Who's Yuuki?"

Then, everything flashed before me, "What... She doesn't know who Yuuki is?"

"Stop kidding with me Mom.. I know you know who Yuuki is. " Creeped, I thought hardly as my words fell into eerie whispers.

"No, Miyuki, I really don't know who he is. " My Mother gave me a confused look, making my head stir into millions of reasons as to why she doesn't know about Yuuki.

"Mom.. You told him to sleep with me last night... "

"Miyuki, I would never allow such thing, What are you talking about?!"

I refused to believe this. A Picture of Kaito, Hirath disappearing, and the random thing in my sub conciousness... This is too much for me to handle...

"Miyuki, Happy Death Day!" I got back when I heard this. My mother gave me an eerie smile as well... "Huh.? Happy.. Death Day.? W-What are you talking about mom.? "

Scared and desperate, I saw her holding a bloody knife and Kaito's body on the floor as I tried to reply, she interrupted me.

"Miyuki.. Good Night. "

She lunged at me with the knife stabbing me in the chest multiple times, blood was coming out to the point I fell on the floor covered in the pool of my own blood as she did the final hit on my head causing me to bleed to death.

I Then wake up hearing sounds of my alarm and Yuuki Trying to wake me up.

Relieved, I rushed and hugged Yuuki.

He was taken by shock, "Ah! Miyuki!! What are you doing so early in the morning!?"

"I'm just relieved you're here. " I give him a smile.

"You're weird today.. anyway, I'm gonna go eat breakdast, come. " He takes me hand and leads me downstairs.

I was daydreaming the entire time, it was when we reached the kitchen I came back.

"I'm just going to go get my hair done and get dressed for now, so please wait for me. " I smile at my mom and at Yuuki.

I then run upstairs and get everything together. I wore the most attractive outfit I had since we planned to go out today, and did my hair to look as cute as possible, then I ran back down and my mom asked, "Where are you two going?"

"Oh, mom, we're gonna go out to get something. "

"Mhm. Something. " My mom laughed as she thought we were couples.

"I promise its nothing like that Ms. Shirakawa"

"No, I just laughed because of how she said it. Don't worry Yuuki. " My mom said.

"Hmph. That's not how it is!!" My voice heightened as I felt embarrassed.

"Yeah, Yeah. You two just go and enjoy, Yuuki and Ms Beautiuful. "

"Hmph! Let's go Yuuki!" I grab his wrist and storm outside bringing him with me. My mom just watched as I brought him out.

Me and Yuuki walked nervously to the park, our fingers touching as we walked shaking, all silent.

Then, our fingers were touching, we were both embarrassed. But, we came to our senses and held our fingers together, trembling.

We took small glances at each other then realized as we locked eyes and looked away in embarrassment.

Whispers drew our surroundings as they were saying, "Wow, such a cute couple. "

"Kids nowadays haha. "

Whispers were everywhere as we were walking.

Then, suddenly, Yuuki broke the embarrassing silent and told me, "M-Miyuki-san.. were here.. "

I looked up and saw the big sign.

"Yeah... Let's go over there.. that's my favorite area. " Embarrassed, I couldn't look at him.

We both walked there looking down.

We arrived and Yuuki cleaned my part of the seat so I cleaned his as well.

Then, he tripped.

"Miyuki! Watch Out.! "

"Ow!" We said in unison.

We both opened our eyes and I was on top of Yuuki. We Locked eyes for a few seconds till we realized it.

"S-Sorry, Yuuki-kun. "

"It's fine.. I tripped so I should be the one sorry. "

"Let's sit now.? "

"Y-Yeah.. "

We both sat down and spoke about how beautiful this place is during this time of day.

Memories came back to me as this was where Me And Kaito stayed after school...

I spaced out and got teleported back into my sub-consciousness..

"What is it this time?" I ask, visibly annoyed.

"Yuuki is a person you must trust. Your memories and dreams about him is Kaito's attempt to distract you. " The Mysterious Voice said.

"Okay, but, who are you anyway.? "

"I am you. Your brain. All your memories are here and will stay here until you die. "

"Hm... Okay, but what happened to Hirath.? "

"I can summon her. "

"Do it. "

Then, a girl was forming on the ground and as it finished, it was Hirath.

I run towards Hirath and Hug her. "Hirath! You're back!"

"Miyuki? Didn't I die.? "

"No! You didn't! You were just... I forgot what happened... "

She shushed me and hugged me tight. "Forget about that, Miyuki. At least I'm back. "

"Yeah... You're right. "

"Miyuki, it's time to go back. Someone's waiting for you. " Hirath gives me a smile as she disappeared once again.

"Miyuki-san! Miyuki-san! Are you okay?!"

I go back and hear Yuuki-kun's voice, his hands waving in front of my face.

I reply, "Yeah.. I spaced out, sorry. "

"Spaced out!? You were asleep!" Yuuki says worried.

"Sorry... I'll try not to do that again. " Apologetic, I lean towards him to kiss him for forgiveness.

He leans in as well and kisses me.

Then, a sound of a camera clicking played. I looked towards the bench and realized it was my mom.

I pull away from the kiss saying sorry to Yuuki as I say, "Mom! You can't just be doing thay! This is private!"

"Hehe. It's fine Miyuki. I knew you two had fun last night. " She laughed as she said it.

I blushed and turned as red as blood, "Mom!! You can't say that here.! W-We just talked about space last night!"

"Really.? I don't believe it. "

"Yuuki-kun go to tell her!"

"Huh.? We talked about what? We had fun last night didn't we?" I knew he was pestering me.

Annoyed, I blurt this out, "Yuuki-kun! That's not fair!"

My mom and Yuuki both laughed and said, "We're just kidding, don't feel bad. "

"Tadaa! Here's a gift from me, Miyuki. " Kaito said excitedly.

"What.? A gift.? What for?" Confused, I ask, frantically.

"To celebrate my love for you, Miyuki-san. "

Flustered, I reply, "Huh.?! What!?"

"We kissed and it was on camera. We both like each other. "

"That was because -" He interrupts me, "Don't say excuses Miyuki-san, you know you like me, now open your gift!"

"Hmph. Fine. "

He smiles at me and says, "See, you like me. "

I reply, annoyed, "Shut up and let me open this. "

My mom and Yuuki laughed.

As I was opening it, my mother took a photo.

"Yuuki, it's a bit hard to open. " I put all my strength to the ribbon and it won't budge.

"Really? I could've sworn I tied it right. " He was obviously sarcastic. I played along.

"Hmm.. It's really hard to open. Let's go home so we can open this. "

"Miyuki-san, try using this. " He hands me a lighter.

"N-No! This will render the ribbon useless after. Let's go home! I have a ribbon untier. "

"Okay. "

My mom packed the camera and Yuuki and I waited for her at the park gates.

As we were waiting, I thought about what was happening and if I should really trust Yuuki.

It's hard to trust my sub-conciousness since it's literally my own brain and Hirath.

Still, I think the end is near and I should find a way to stop it. Kaito is somehow still alive and the stranger is nowhere to be seen...

All I know is that Hirath is still alive and trying to find a way to get back to me.
