CHAPTER FORTY EIGHT

An excruciating groan slid out of Marino's mouth as I place the third bloody pair of teeth on a metal tray.



He's not talking. I will soon make him. "Still not ready to utter a word?" I ask, holding his head up to look at me by grabbing his short hair in my hand and squeezing my fist.



"You're a fool to think I will." He said with a grimace. Because of his removed teeth, his voice sounds quite funny to my ears.



I grinned. I was going easy on him but he seems to want none of it. "I'll make you. Sooner or later, if you don't appreciate me being your dentist, I shall give you a pedicure instead."



Marino's eyes widened. His blood stained teeth shivered in response and his throat tightened. Marino spread his mouth open wider but instead of speaking, he laughed.
