I slipped into the ivory gown, the delicate fabric cascading around me like a cloud. It was everything I had ever dreamed of - elegant, timeless, and utterly perfect.

As I gazed at my reflection in the mirror, I felt a lump form in my throat.

“Mom?” I asked my mother stood beside me, her eyes shimmering with unshed tears. “What do you think?”

She reached out, her hands trembling slightly as she adjusted the veil on my head. "You look stunning, Kyra," she whispered, her voice thick with emotion.
