The Crown Prince Palace???.

The maid servants quickly stopped their gossiping as they were approached by Head maid Kim…. She instructed them to get back to work, which they immediately obeyed and left. Actually, the maid servants quickly obeyed Head-maid Kim because they were afraid of getting punished, or even losing their salaries.

“I need to get out of here asap”. Xi Xhen quickly said to herself as she finally stopped panicking. She did not plan for her morning to be like this. Being back at the crown prince's mansion was her worst nightmare! Just last night she gained freedom by escaping, but now, she has returned to this annoying mansion.

“Where do you think you're going?”. Li Yun's calm and yet intimidating voice, questioned Xi Xhen. It was actually this minute he came out of his manor. And he overheard what Xi Xhen had said to herself.

‘Aya…. What is his problem? What does he want from me? Can't he just leave me alone and mind his own business?’. Xi Xhen thought to herself with furrowed eyebrows. Later on, she rudely answered Li Yun by saying, “I’m going to my home”.

After listening to what Xi Xhen said, Li Yun exhaled deeply before approaching her.

Xi Xhen was busy staring at Li Yun with suspicious eyes, since he was coming close to her by the second.

‘What is he trying to do?’. Xi Xhen thought and was glaring at Li Yun deeply.

Li Yun walked towards Xi Xhen. He was standing in front of her when he suddenly questioned her with a harsh voice, “Do you think you could escape me?”.

Xi Xhen saw the dangerous look in Li Yun's eyes. And for the first time ever, she was actually feeling goosebumps, and was intimidated. ‘What is his problem? Why is he asking me such a question? Who the heck does he think he is?! What makes him think I can not escape him?! He really is an unpredictable lunatic’. Xi Xhen thought.

“Of course, I can definitely escape from you”. Xi Xhen stood bravely when she firmly answered Li Yun.

A smirk appeared on Li Yun's thin lips after he saw how brave Xi Xhen was trying to be. “Take my consort to her chamber. Make sure she doesn't leave, or else”. Li Yun ordered Head maid Kim and the two guards, before he teleported away.

Xi Xhen scoffed in disgust and disbelief. “Who does he think he is?! He's really getting on my nerves!”. She shouted and was jumping around due to frustration. “I dare to see who would try to stop me!”. She hissed as she seriously announced. Soon, she tried to find her way outside the mansion.

Xi Xhen was heading to the large gates when she suddenly heard the noises of pleading from behind her. She stopped walking and eventually faced them.

“Princess Consort, please don't leave!”. Everyone knelt down as they pleaded with Xi Xhen even more. Honestly speaking, they were begging desperately because they couldn't defeat Xi Xhen.

“Gosh, the crown prince is really a monster! Just look at the way these people are begging me to stay, as if their lives depend on it”. Xi Xhen muttered and shook her head in pity.

Xi Xhen wasn't a heartless person, so she finally gave up and decided to stay, because she didn't want that heartless crown prince to punish anyone.

Finally, Xi Xhen returned to the manor she ran away from. How funny and unbelievable! Well, she didn't return to her renovated manor for free. She gave head-maid Kim a condition. And that was, they would serve her any meal she wanted, and at any time!

“Alright, crown princess consort”. Head maid Kim excused herself as she obeyed Xi Xhen's orders to get food.

To Miss Kim, she would rather do anything in her power to please Xi Xhen, so that Xi Xhen would not change her mind and then run away.

The two guards stood outside Xi Xhen's manor, as they guarded it.

“Hmph. Those guards are pathetic and funny. I could even escape from this manor right now, without them noticing anything”. Xi Xhen said this while staring at the guards.

It didn't take long, and Zhen Zhen arrived, accompanied by Lilie.

“Young Mistress!”.

As soon as Xi Xhen heard who had called her, she faced her small gate and saw Zhen Zhen coming. Zhen Zhen was sweating, and her clothes from yesterday were covered in sweat and dirt. She also had a really worried look on her face.

“What took you both so long?”. Xi Xhen asked both Zhen Zhen and Lilie.

After hearing Xi Xhen's question, Zhen Zhen explained the reasons to her.

“Thank goodness you both are here…. And I'm sincerely sorry for drinking so much last night”. Xi Xhen lightly chuckled as she admitted her mistake. She had already recalled how Li Yun brought her back to his mansion.

“Anyway, since you are both here, let's have fun again. I am really bored staying here. It's not as if I'm a damn prisoner or something”. Out of the blue, Xi Xhen suggested.

And since Xi Xhen had a stubborn personality, Lilie and Zhen Zhen did not refuse her suggestion, or even bother to argue with her.

Chin Yun's manor,

“What?! That bitch is back?!”. Chin Yun heard the news about Xi Xhen's return, so she exclaimed and was so furious and angry.

Chin Yun was so angry to the point that she smashed and scattered all her jewelry on the floor.

“Young Mistress, are you alright?!”. Zaya panicked and asked when she saw scratches on Chin Yun's hands.

“I'm alright, Zaya! But don't worry. I would make the crown princess consort wish she had never returned!”. Chin Yun declared with piercing eyes. In no time, she clenched her dress tightly, as she was feeling so frustrated, no matter how much she had tried to control her feelings.
