I cleared my throat, regaining my composure. "Aunt Rosemary, could you please bring the first aid kit?" I requested, my voice steady.

"Yes, just a moment," she hurriedly went inside to retrieve it.

As I surveyed the surroundings, I noticed broken pieces of glass scattered on the floor. Carefully, I lifted Andreas to a safe area and helped him sit down.

"Hold on, sweetie," I reassured him, gently wiping away his tears.

Andrew bent down, enveloping both of us in his embrace, his eyes filled with a mix of emotions.

Aunt Rosemary returned with the first aid kit in hand, and I swiftly removed Andrew's hands from us, wanting to tend to Andreas' wounds myself.

Kneeling down, my hands slightly trembling, I began to clean his injuries. I heard my son gasp in pain, and I blew softly on his knees, trying to ease his discomfort, while Andrew provided support, cradling him in his arms.
