Leave this house

*Splash*

A bowl of rice came flying out of the living room and broke with a big clank.

"Mother fucker! The rice is burnt. How many times do I have to tell you to cook properly?"

When Akira saw inside, a huge amount of burnt and half-cooked rice was all over the floor.

"Should we bring the women in to cook for us?"

"Forget it, they are not getting hurt no matter what we do. This safe zone is trash."

"Hey, we still can force them, why don't we…tonight." Everyone giggled when a man said that.

While giggling, one man saw Akira walking into the living room with an enraged blank face.

"Who is this mother fucker coming into our house?"

Everyone noticed him, a teenage boy, so they thought one man was enough to get him.

A man tried to punch Akira just for fun, but before he knew it, he was sitting against the wall with his nose blocked by some liquid.

His back and head hurt, and he was unable to think straight.

He saw the shocked looks on his friends and saw the blood dripping on his shirt. His body vibrated and he shouted in fear.

"How did he get hurt? This is a safe zone."

"Quick, attack him. The restrictions must have been lifted."

They felt something was off, so everyone moved towards Akira together.

Akira went swiftly and only punched everyone one time, but all went flying with blood spilling from their faces.

Haruka saw all that with widened eyes and stood silent with her mouth closed by her palm. She didn't hear their words about their mothers, but just for the rice they wasted, they deserved that punishment.

But the men didn't give up. They got up and tried to attack Akira all at once.

Akira dodged the first man's punch, and while in the moment, Akira caught the fist with his left hand from the side and thrust his right palm to the elbow, breaking the joint bone cleanly.

Those thugs got shaken by that. They wondered how a teenager could be so cold in this day and age.

Akira moved to another man; that man tried to retaliate, but Akira broke his elbow too. He did the same to all the thugs and only to their left arm.

It was so accurate that he punched the face for the first time and only the left elbow for the 2nd time with their left arms breaking.

They all miserably kneeled to beg to make him stop. They all cried with their foreheads on the floor.

"Get out!" Akira commanded, and they ran away.

Their parents came in with a pitying look for those thugs.

"Who beat them like that?" Akihiko asked and saw Akira's fist and also all the rice on the floor. He shook his head. "Forget it. You two freshen up and rest. We will clean the house and prepare food."

Whatever happened to the world, those parents knew they were not in charge anymore.

Haruka whispered to Akira. "Aki, your expression is scary. Be careful of showing it to them."

Akira went inside without saying anything.

In the street,

The thugs saw a player beating up some people in front of a house.

"Why can only a few people hurt someone?" a man asked in the crowd, who was watching the fight.

"I heard the players with contribution can mark the percent of land in this safe zone equal to the percent of their contribution in the tutorial as their own. So if anyone shows hostility towards them in that area, the owner can hurt them. But only when they show hostility."

"In this safe zone, no one can hurt anyone, so even getting a place on the road to sleep is better. I checked the internet and only this particular area is this special."

In the evening, inside an office, Mototsugu was kneeling in front of his father with two bodyguards behind him.

"Father, please forgive me. Give me another chance. I will kill those bastards and bring their heads to you," Mototsugu pleaded.

His face was twisted with hopelessness and terror, he already knew what his father would do but deep down he just hopped.

His father's face was filled with disgust, not even a woman would see a man who just rapped her like that. "What a disappointment. What can you do with that crippled hand? Take him to the resort."

Mototsugu's heart pumped with terror, and he shouted, "No, Father. I don't want to die. Please give me another chance."

While he begged, the bodyguards dragged him away.

"Find out who they are and wipe their bloodline from this planet," said Tsukamoto clan head, Tsukamoto Hirotoshi.

His subordinate bowed and replied, "Yes, master."

As night fell, Akira and Haruka headed outside.

"Aki, when I woke up just now, I couldn't stop thinking. What is this system? Where are these monsters coming from? Human bodies are not strong; is this system forcing our bodies?

What if our bodies break one day? Is this some kind of experiment conducted by aliens?" She held his sleeve with fear. "Aki, I am scared. So many people died because of this."

Akira didn't know what to say. He had heard bits and pieces about those concerns in his previous life, but at that time, his mind was filled with only two things: getting strong to kill people and the guilt of making his family suffer.

He never had the privilege to think about what Haruka just said to him in his previous life, so he was as clueless as Haruka. Her questions made him start thinking beyond the desire to protect his loved ones.

'That's right. Whatever power we are getting, there must be some cost. That means I have to learn what this power is,' he thought.

"I am as clueless as you, Ruka," said Akira, which made Haruka a little disappointed, she looked away, unwilling to show her disappointed face to him. She believed he was hiding something as he had some kind of futuristic view.

"But you have a point." He gazed at the stars. "We need to learn what this power is." When he said that, Haruka looked at him. He was smiling, which confused her.

Then he turned his face and looked into her eyes. "So let's figure it out." He didn't care what that might be, and he was only excited to find it with his best friend. 'I have some clues about this matter, but it is vague, so let's not bring it up.'

"Sure," Haruka replied pleasantly, charmed by his innocent smile, and thought, 'What the hell! Who cares about what kind of nightmare he had? If he doesn't say it, then it isn't important.

All I care about now is to protect my family and friends. Let me get a little stronger before trying to figure out something beyond my comprehension.'

"Where are we going next?" Haruka asked.

"As planned. We will raid all artifact and weapon dungeons. We can keep what we need and sell the remaining later," said Akira, "let's try to reach a dungeon 100 kilometers away to pick a skill. We need at least one offensive skill. We will pick it up there."

"Ok, but why aren't we leveling up yet?" Haruka asked.

"We need to get the first reward from 10 dungeons as level 1 for a title. (He pointed in a direction) We will clear dungeons in this direction in two different ways and meet at the 100-kilometer point. There we will raid skill reward dungeons to get a skill with intelligence scaling."

"Ok, be careful," said Haruka.

"You too. Don't save anyone and don't provoke anyone. Just do your job as effectively as possible."

"Yes, boss man."

They both changed into disguises with masks and rushed away.
