Huginn cawed noisily as the coastline was visible to the naked eyes, alerting the crews and passengers. In just less than a day, they should have arrived at the village by evening since the waves were not so high during the summer.
Darius stood at the bow, Sarah and Elea approached him and both were on his either sides, awed by the serene beauty of the landscape.
"That is your home?" Sarah chimed as she saw the wooden light tower from a distance and the massive Westcliff in the background that stretched from south to north.
Darius nodded proudly.
"Beautiful! It's not just a village, but a fortress!" Elea admired the defense wall that surrounded the entire village that gradually came to her magical scope.
Before they moor the ship at the piers, Darius beckoned the black raven who perched lazily at the main mast.
"Huginn! Can you please come down for a minute?!"
The black raven flapped his wings and landed on Darius' forearm.
