"Steels?" Ivar bemused. 'Why would a remote village with a low population need a lot of steel?'
Noticing the scrutinizing gaze, Darius swiftly explained. His voice was stern. "Yes. We would need a lot of steel to make tools from it. We can't just simply mine the stones with bare hands, would we? And more importantly, weapons. Without it, we are sitting ducks amidst the beasts' habitat."
Ivar and the town officials made a collective "Oh" noises. After what happened to Lord Richmond's estate, Ivar had been worried about the bandits who would raid the town. But, he was well aware about the existence of the Snow Wolves in the wilderness.
"Alright then. You will heard from us in a day or two. We still need to discuss this matter with the townsfolk. For the time being, if you wish to stay in our humble town, we will provide you with the accommodation."
