A THOUSAND UNSPOKEN WORDS

William and the Grannies walked through the streets, a sense of urgency in their steps. They stopped everyone they saw, asking if they had seen Dahlia. The Grannies described her in vivid detail, but each time they received the same answer: "I think I saw her over there, but I'm not sure." They grew increasingly worried as the minutes passed and they still hadn't found her.

William's heart raced as he listened to Dahlia's phone ring and ring, but there was no answer.

"Let's go that way and look for her." Granny Avira suggested, and the other Grannies nodded in agreement.

William didn't want to bother the Grannies. "I'll search for her myself, y'all should take a rest."

"Nonsense!" Granny Sharon said, her voice firm. "We're all in this together. We're going to find her, and we're going to do it as a team." The other Grannies nodded.
