Duality of Devas!

World's P.O.V,

When the world was trembling under the fury of Mata Ganga, Makar & co were taking Vasusena to his destination.

Splash!

Thud!

Swish!

The violent waves of the Ganges and razzing winds didn't affect them in the slightest. As soon as they came within the radius of ten meters of Vasusena, they forgot their destructive tendencies and calmly surrounded Vasusena and others. Simultaneously increasing the speed of Makar and the school of fishes.

Thus is the power of a single syllable 'Om/Aum'. In the Mandukya Upanishad, one of the core Upanishads, 'OM' is equated with Brahman, the ultimate reality, the source of all creation.

It provides ultimate peace to the listeners, dead or alive alike.

This behavior of Air and water created an amazing phenomena of a basket drifting on the surface of the Ganges, taken by a school of fishes & a crocodile. The passerby would have worshipped Vasusena like a deity. If there were any.

Due to the anger of Mata Ganga, The area surrounding the Ganga river had formed an apocalyptic scene, frightening both humans and other creatures alike.

None of them had enough courage to approach the furious tides. Hence, everyone avoided the river like a parasite while pleading Mata Ganga in their hearts.

They were also curious about the cause of the fury of Mata Ganga, one of the most gentle goddesses. She, who provided moksha to countless sinful souls, was unable to forgive someone? That person must have committed a grave sin!

Generally speaking, this major change in the world would have alerted various deities, who will report this incident to Devaraj Indra(King of all deities).

Strangely though, This time, no one noticed this strange occurrence in the mortal place.

Even the great Sage, Maharishi Narada (नारद), who knew it all, didn't find anything unusual.

Going by the ranks of Devloka/Heaven, The anger of Mata Ganga would have shaken the throne of Devaraj Indra. There should be chaos in Devloka and Deva's should be hurrying to find the cause of unrest, while quelling the fury of Mata Ganga at the same time.

Anyways, it was good for Vasusena. Otherwise, he would have been noticed by many God's and Demi-gods.

There may be kind and malicious intent mixed among them, proving very dangerous for the baby Vasusena.

Since the creation of the world, The thought process of Deva's was very unusual. On one hand, they would treat people above their ranks with utmost respect while disregarding the mortals. Even the incarnations of three great gods of 'Sanatana' (Lord Vishnu, Lord Shiva and Lord Brahma) were insulted by the arrogant deities but mostly by Devaraj Indra who will insult Lord Krishna, the incarnation of Lord Vishnu.

It was said, Asura's/Demons are the source of every sin, while Deva's were to withhold the great virtues and serve the world by presiding over the functioning of the cosmos and the evolution of creation.

Yet, there were many instances where Asuras appeared more righteous than the so-called Deva's.

At least Asuras had their own stand of conquering the world, being its ruler, Ultimately became more powerful than the Trimurti!

Sadly, Many Deva's were more treacherous than Asura's, contradicting their very own existence. At one moment, they will act like a saint while backstabbing others the next moment.

Devaraj Indra had been the prime example of Deva's duality. He had committed many sin and even successfully redeemed himself by using his authority as the King of Devloka. His actions of using unscrupulous methods against Asuras were understandable considering Asuras very existence were a threat for his rule as they kept waging war to conquer heaven.

However, Devaraj Indra even harassed many Sage's during their penance that could potentially be threatening towards his rule, resulting in the fall of many of Apsaras, Celestial Female spirits, by getting cursed by those furious Sages.

One time, He even dared to lay his hands on the wife of Maharishi Gautama, Devi Ahilya. Pierced by his lust, Indra disguised himself as Maharishi Gautama and seduced Ahilya. When Great Sage Gautama came to know about this incident, He cursed innocent Devi Ahilya to turn into a stone scripture which was later liberated by Lord Ram. The Deities(Devas), Who helped Devaraj Indra in his infamous deed were also cursed.

Such were the great acts of the king of Heaven. They were the greatest stain on 'Sanatana' religion. His infamous acts had brought endless shame on Hindus, while defiling their beliefs.

Fortunately, After Dvapara Yuga, He was enlightened by Lord Krishna. Sadly, Lord Krishna hasn't even been born yet.

Therefore, the less Devaraj Indra knows about Karna and his affairs, the better it is for him...
