Some Things Are Better Left Unknown...

YAMI'S P.O.V,

Inside the castle built on the tallest peak of Castle,

A man with divine bearing was sitting on the throne before him was a maiden clothed in a saree, This woman is me, Yamuna also goes by the name 'Yami' the twin sister of Yama-the king of Naraka (Hell).

"Pranam PitaShri (पिताश्री)."

"Ayushman Bhava, Daughter (Putri)."

I greeted my father, also known as Suryadev. He is famous for his righteous nature and radiance second only to Lord Narayana.

His slightly red but fair skin is surrounded by a divine luster, illuminating the surroundings like always. His shoulder length black hairs were draped on Shoulders while the rest of his head is covered by his golden crown (Mukut).

Dressed in his shining Golden armor and his Saffron coloured Dhoti (A piece of cloth worn by Indians), his charm was overflowing from his body, threatening to steal countless maidens' hearts.

Despite this splendor, his dark black pupils filled with grief, below his tilak of rising Sun, is a heartbreaking sight to see.

When I greeted him before, his voice contained a subtle sadness.

Respected father's situation almost confirmed my suspicion, Father is definitely related to that poor child, somehow.

"PitaShri, In Bhu-Loka, I found a newborn baby, flowing in my stream. When I looked at him, I found an unknown familiarity with him. However, I couldn't find anything about him even after using my divine sense.

I paused to look at Father, With each passing second, regret and self-loathing filled his inner and outer self. Witnessing his state, I hesitated a little... before completing my sentence.

"That... child is a demi-god, capable of reciting the eternal sound 'Om'. While, he had earrings made of Amrita (The Essence of Immortality) and an armor not inferior to father's. I was wondering if he's... related to father."

As my words left my little mouth, Father's expressions kept changing. One second he would open his mouth but no words came out from it.

The next moment, He would look outside the window as if observing someone.

"Om Namo Narayanaya Namaha~"

To calm himself, he chanted a divine Mantra as he faced me with full concentration and said, "The Origin of that child can't be disclosed by me. You only have to know, he has his own purpose in the near future. He is unrelated to you."

I listened to Father's explanation. Although, it didn't clear my doubts, so be it. Forcing a father to reveal this secret isn't something a daughter should do.

"Thank you, Father. Shall I return to the mortal plane?" Understanding my father's difficulties, I didn't persist much and replied with a polite smile on my face, trying to ease his sadness.

"You can return but visit your Mothers before returning. And... His name was Vasusena..."

I looked at the father's back as he left after saying these words. For a reason unknown to me, I think he smiled slightly when he mentioned that child.

As for the meaning behind his words? I didn't think too much about it as I made my way towards my two lovely mothers.

In spite of our curious nature, we (Women) knew when to stop unlike the stubborn Men.

Some things are better not known in this world...

***

Prakriti's P.O.V,

Adhiratha and Radha were about to return to their home. Actually, today was a little hectic for them (Emotionally).

They think Me and my sister (Niyati) were stopping them from going back.

Well... It is reasonable. (I guess...)

Considering, they had tried to return but stopped due twice. First, Radha's emotions flowed as she let her grievances out. Something she would have never done so in the past.

Secondly, Just when her heart returned to normal, She saw a child (Vasusena) drifting in the unusually violent flowing water of Devi Ganga, unlike her calm and gentle self.

However, these events were totally coincidental*. It has nothing to do with me. So, don't put this tab on my head.

I wanted to say that to the now joyful couple yet, I didn't or couldn't.

Since, even if I did so, they will never believe me due to Devi Ganga's appearance has already made them doubt their sanity.

In Reality, She had orchestrated the whole scenario. She had been observing the couple, chosen by Suryadev under the influence of Niyati (Before, Vasusena was freed from it's binds).

Initially, Both of them looked like very promising parents from their conversation. But, It was not enough to grasp their true nature.

Therefore, She let the newborn baby flow in her slightly hectic flow to test them. Furthermore, She added some of her ornaments to fill the basket with more 'Maya' in an attempt to ignite their greed hidden inside them (If there were any).

In spite of the fortune, Adhiratha ignored it altogether as he rescued the child and the dove with great attention. As for Radha, the jewellery and wealth, the pursuit of many were deemed worthless in her eyes. For her, a life is much more important than shiny stones and metals.

Impressing Devi Ganga more and more. They passed every test with flying colours, providing great relief to Devi Ganga to pass this child in good hands.

As for their caste, Though they are The Suta (The Worker Class), the children of a Kshatriya father and a Brahmin mother, it was a myth. The 'Vijaya Samhita' never preached about Varna (Caste) as something decided from birth. Rather, it is a social division for the better division of society.

The Four Vedas never mentioned anything about Varna superiority. It was some petty peoples with petty thoughts, they advocated the thought, "Only the Son of King can become a King". All because to hide their incapability. This period of Dvapara, is the transition of Satya (Truth) yuga into Kalyuga.

Thus, the common humans had been slowly made to believe this myth of birth superiority by the corrupted rulers and some priests. Under their influence, Some kingdoms discriminated the lower classes of Sutas and Vaishyas.

However, For celestials, Humanity itself is below them in terms of purity and wisdom (Only Initially). They treat all humans equally, be it King or a beggar. Therefore, Devi Ganga discarded this petty thought of petty humans of Kalyuga and addressed the couple," Children, I am grateful for your kindness, You accepted the child in the face of wealth!"

Both Adhiratha and Radha were dumbfounded on seeing the emergence of a celestial maiden from the pure water of The Ganges.

Even after coming out from the water, there was not a single drop of water on her black hairs and white saree, swaying gently with the steady wind. Her entire being was encircled by a purifying aura, clearing each and every impure thought. Furthermore, a single glance on her was calming to the couple.

It made the couple bow their heads in respect for the unknown deity. Although, the emergence of the pure maiden, radiating the motherly aura was too coincidental with the child in their arms, they kept their thoughts in check.

Waiting for the permission of the respected deity to explain it herself. Because...

As stated before, 'Some things are better left unknown.'
