Niyati's Deviations

Prakriti's P.O.V,

On the banks of the Alakananda river, A Sage adorned with saffron dhoti (Bhartiya Pajamas) was sitting beneath a tree in a lotus position with his eyes closed. His skin was a shade of brown and his hairs were orderly braided, His body is covered in an Aura enlarging his very presence hovering between the mortal realm and Moksha.

"On the first day...."

While meditating, he kept saying something in Ancient Sanskrit with his deep voice. Every Sanskrit word coming out of his mouth was distorting the air surrounding him, appearing untainted by the world and yet, affecting the surrounding in a positive way.

Dip~

Before the mighty sage, A man with an Elephant head is writing every word uttered by the Sage on the dried Palm leaves. He wrote every word in a neat and steady handwriting, in an orderly manner.

However, Instead of feather mostly used to write text in Dvapara Yuga, He is writing with one of his tusks, which he broke to fulfill his promise with the sage.

"On the Third-!"

Just when the sage was about to describe the third day, his concentration was disrupted by something! He halted mid-sentence and looked at the clear blue-sky over his head.

Following which, The man with the elephant's head stopped writing due to the Sage's sudden halt, completing his promise with the sage.

He opted to not disturb the Sage as he slowly placed the partially written epic with the words 'Vijaya Samhita' shining on its front page, in an orderly manner beside another pile of dried palm leaves.

After doing this, he patiently waited for the sage to say something, a little too curious to know about the reason for the sudden stop.

The Sage, who is also known as Krishna Dvaipayana or more commonly as Maharishi Veda Vyasa, the author of the famous epic 'Vijaya Samhita', continued staring at the sky, trying to find something or someone?

In Dvapara Yuga, Maharishi Veda Vyasa is the 18th incarnation of Lord Vishnu and the father of Dhritarashtra and Pandu, making him the second most senior person in Hastinapur along with Gangaputra Bhisma.

As for the man previously writing the epic? He is the son of the celestials closest to the mother of all 'Shakti', Lord Shiva and Devi Parvati, famously known as Ganesh, the first among all devas.

With a single tusk on his head, he is also worshipped as Ekdanta for his grace to break his tusk for the sake of his promise with Maharishi Veda Vyasa.

"Shri Ganesh, Niyati is changing...." After a long time, Maharishi Veda Vyasa told lord Ganesh as a slight smile appeared on his old face.

He had stated the most terrifying news in the most natural way as if it was a normal thing! Because, Niyati is the true governing force of the world, deciding every event that has happened, is happening and will happen.

But, Niyati never enslaves others. Instead, it only intends to let the world work in its designated way.

The power to alter Niyati is far away even from the grasp of the mighty Trimurti. Niyati holds the power to turn others according to her will, it had never altered itself for others.

And yet, it is adjusting and converting, to adapt with a single rogue individual!

It is the most bizarre and dire predicament for the world! Even then, Maharishi Veda Vyasa's expressions did not indicate any signs of distress.

Considering, he is the incarnation of Lord Vishnu, the nurturer of the world. His very existence was provide a proper balance to this world balance like his other incarnations!

Lord Ganesh stood up from his seat and asked Maharishi Vyasa, "Rishivar (Sir), What about this incomplete Saga?"

Maharishi Vyasa gently looked at him as he said, "Shri Ganesh, this saga has turned from the great teachings for mankind into worthless leaves. In reality, this Epic is supposed to be the reflection of the future, a lesson to the poor souls in Kalyuga to learn from the mistakes of their predecessor's and find a way to connect with the supreme soul in the next yuga, devoid of correct guidance. However...."

He paused for a while before adding, "The future is changing with each passing second. And yet, it isn't chaotic. Every future is well guided by Niyati, not affecting the balance of the world in the least, leading this world to a hidden outcome. A future where the darkness of Kalyuga is illuminating brighter than ever!"

He continued, "Shri Ganesh, this must be the influence of the supreme mother. Therefore, we shouldn't worry about her actions."

...

Lord Ganesh heard everything Maharishi Vyasa said with utmost focus, not daring to miss anything. Anything related to Maa Shakti is filled with great enlightenment, even for the great celestials, potentially helping some of them to purify their last bit of imperfections to reach her.

Albeit, it's not something that Devi Sarswati, The deity governing over Knowledge or Lord Brahma, the omniscient god, can decipher.

Her actions far exceed the laws of the universe that celestial governs and manage. It was because the laws of the world are only fragments of the ultimate knowledge, created by Maa Shakti when she created the Trimurties.

"Shri Ganesh, Although this epic has lost its meaning, I am very grateful to you. You had completed your part of the promise. Going as far as to break your tusk for this sacred work!" Maharishi Vyasa thanked Lord Ganesh.

Following which, Lord Ganesh returned to his residence at Kailash while Maharishi Vyasa returned to his hut where his mother, Devi Satyavati-the former empress of Hastinapur & second wife of late king Shantanu, was preparing food for him.

After praying to lord Shiva, Maharishi Vyasa and Devi Satyavati ate their food like a happy family, chatting with each other.

From that day, Maharishi Vyasa's most duties had vanished, giving him almost a century to enjoy his life as a son, basking in the love and care of his mother...

Waiting for his last duty...

....

On the other side,

Following the flowing river of the Ganges, the two Suta families had reached the Triveni Sangam, the meeting point where the three holy rivers, The Yamuna, Ganga and Sarswati met, after traveling for five days.

This long journey of almost six hundred kilometers has taken its toll on both the humans and the horses. Therefore, Adiratha and Vaibhav decided to rest at the banks of Sangam for the night, before resuming their journey.

Thinking that, Both of them led the horses to the Ashram of Maharishi Bharadwaj, to rest.

Totally unaware of the new deviation it will bring out....

To be continued...

  1. It means,
If someone or something is forcing the Niyati to change itself, it will led to chaos and turmoil in the world. It is because, many ongoing things may have to stop, disappear or change their outcomes.
Be it devas, Humans or Ashura, they will need some time to adapt to the new destiny, creating a gap between the world.
Potentially leading to the early destruction of the world or the arrival of Kalyuga.
However, it was not the case. Indicating towards the influence of some powerful being, capable to do as it pleases without the fear of any consequence i.e. Maa Shakti.
