A True King

Azriel's stubbornness was as unyielding as that of a mule. Despite his conversation with Lyonne, he hesitated for two additional days before taking action. Eventually, he found himself standing in front of the laboratory, where he paused for a moment before finally knocking on the door.

"Come in," Edward yelled from inside.

Azriel slowly turned the doorknob and entered the dimly lit, chilling lab. Edward, clad in a pristine white coat, was frantically dashing around the room, scribbling down complex formulas, conducting research, and mixing an array of colorful chemicals. As Azriel observed Edward's frenzied activity, a pang of guilt washed over him. He realized that Edward had been tirelessly dedicating himself to this work for the past three months, while he had ignorantly underestimated his efforts.
