CHAPTER 11:Princess Ava

The day came for I and Astrid to go to college . Astrid was overexcited than usual and was squealing,giggling and chuckled from time to time making me and mom laugh inwardly. Mom was a little sad that her girls were living but she cheered up as they all hugged each other. A car came to pick them up and dropped them at the school gate. As we walked into the school,our mouths were left wide opened as they stared at the magnificent design of the school."holly molly frigolly"exclaimed Astrid. each building was uniquely designed in way that would charm off any person. There were tall buildings of the same colour but each one more beautuful than the other. The buildings were in masses and even after that,there was still a mass number of land in the middle of which a water fountain stood. Despite all of the buildings , you could still see the sky clearly and the garden. Yes the garden ,the garden was smelling sweetly of lovely flower fragrence. Roses, tulips,bluebells and other beautiful flowers of different colours surrounded the trimmed lush green bushes were the flag of the school and country stood waving in the wind. Though school hadnt resumed fully ,few students walked about their businesses giving the school a busy atmophere . "wow trix its more than I imagined its massive" said Astrid swirling "calm youre horses sis ,youre right ive never seen anything like this" said I as l tried to locate their hostel. As they walked about, the students there stared at us like we were out of place. Astrid frowned and I could tell that she was confused. They kept staring as if something was wrong with us but we ignored them and started walking again. I tried finding Elite Mansion hostel but l couldnt find it. I tried asking some of the students but they would just stare and walk away like I wasnt talking to them. "Typical snoody rich kids,you couldnt less" commented Astrid sitting on a nearby bench "ha l'm so tired and hungry " she groaned "sorry Astrid I think we're going to be here for a while , i cant seem to find our hostel. Gosh its all that princes fault, couldnt he had taken us himself" I said annoyed as Astrid groaned more. "I'm going to call Alistair and he better be here" she said picking up her phone. She was so engrossed with her phone thar she bumped into a girl. "Oh i'm so sorry i didnt see you " she apologizes quickly but the girl flared up "are you blind or what?,how dare you bump into me! " yelled the girl "geez i said I was sorry no need to get all red" said Astrid "what audacity! You still have the guts to talk b.... wait a minute your not a princess or a royal, youre not even an elite how did you get in here?" She asked looking at Astrid suspiciously."youre just a filthy commoner ,how the hell did you get in here? I'm sure you must be thieves, what did you steal?"ranted the girl at Astrid who was getting pissed ."you're mistaken we're not thrives we're actually students"I said but she laughed out hard "what do you take me for?huh a fool. For the last time what did you steal?" She asked again "didn't you hear her or are your ears deaf, we are not thieves we're students and you dont have the right to treat us like this " protested Astrid "oh really trying to play smart,have it you're way. Security!" She called and five seconds two hefty men wearing black suits appeared "yes you're Highness" they said bowing. "Frisk them" she ordered "search them thoroughly and if you find anything call the cops". I widened my eyes and looked at Astrid who had lost it " that's it ,if you dare come any closer to our bags you're not going to like it"she threatened raising her fist . I knew Astrid would resort to this . She always resorted to fighting when things got out of hand and she wouldn't back off. "Are you threatening me. You've lost it. Frisk them and you hold the fiesty one" she ordered again.As the man was about opening the first bag a voice stopped him "stop" said a female voice . We looked up to see a beautiful girl with strawberry blonde hair and brown eyes walking towards us. The securities bowed their heads down when she was in front of "what are you doing" she asked with authority. "Princess Vanessa asked us to frisk them" said the first one "really" she said eyeing Vanessa "fine ,I'll let you search them but on a condition which is if nothing is found on them you'll both lose your jobs today so go on search them" she said but they didn't move an inch. "Why so hesitant come on search them why aren't you going " she said sarcastic but they still didn't move "I thought as much why would you go through someone else's property when you have no solid proof that they stole or did something wrong?" She said rather than ask. "We we're just following the princess's orders" said the second one "even wrong ,that's a terrible thing to do following her orders are you still holding her let her go " she said and he let Astrid go "you know what you should be fired you haven't even apologized to them I...." Dont listen to her,she has no right to fire you ,she can do know harm so stop threatening them Ava"yelled Vanessa "you're right I can't do anything or fire you but Prince ALISTAIR can , I'm I right? maybe I should give him a call and tell him what you've done to his guests" Ava said picking up her phone "please you're highness, dont do this I really need this job" please the second one"I'm a father of two please you're Highness " "you're apologizing to the wrong person" she said holding up her phone as she looked at Vanessa who was biting her lips as the personnels turned to us "we're sorry mams we didn't mean to,please dont let her calk the prince we're really sorry" "we'll never do this again ,I'll be extra careful,it won't happen again". " look dude its okay stop with the pleading you were just doing you're job but maybe next time try not to manhandle a girl you're grip is really tight"I heard Astrid say to the man who pinned her to the wall when I didn't say anything. I was too stunned to, just few minutes ago they were treating us roughly but now they were begging was this how power worked?. "Good I'll let you off this time next time you won't be so lucky" said Ava "and just in case an advice that will keep you on this job, take orders from people who use their initiatives and sense, not brainless rude moron that think they're better than everyone else even though they're not" she said looking at an angry Vanessa as Ava dismissed them. "You little mole rat you dare call me a moron that too in front of these commoners" spewed Vanessa "Me? but I didn't say anything or call a name ,girls did you hear me say any name?" asked Ava to us which made me chuckle "nope I didn't hear you say a name " replied Astrid "see but come to think of it, you do fit those description, you're brainless you're rude and you think you're better than everyone else even though you're not plus you're stupid"Said Ava." I really like princess Ava she's a bad ass "whispered Astrid to me " yeah me too" "you thug for a princess you can't compare yourself to me I'm much better in you" Vanessa said back flaunting her hair but Ava scoffed "it is true you can't compare yourself to me, I mean I'm more prettier than you ,more smarter than you and is much much better at everything good than you so you're right" winked Ava at a raging Vanessa "but I wouldn't blame you I mean its not everyone who's born with their brain in their head, people like you have your brains outside so you can't really think". I tried to control myself from bursting into laughter but I couldn't. Astrid held her tummy as she laughed hard not minding the princess who was boiling in rage and biting her nails. " you'll pay for everything you've said to me mark my words I am going to make you suffer"threatened the princess before leaving. "I don't know what to say but I'm really grateful for what you did" I said thanking Ava "it was no problem, I make my life's work to teach people like her a lesson" replied Ava "you were such a bad ass can I have you're autograph?" Asked Astrid making me laugh along with Ava. "You must be Tricia and Astrid, I'm Ava ,Alistair asked me to pick you up but I was too busy that I almost forgot, I'm sorry " she stated "dont be you just saved us from total embarrassment" I said "you guys will be staying at Elite Mansion where I stay so let's go" "oh goodie I get to stay with you, so cool " said Astrid excited as we walked.
