Poison Skill Upgraded

Hansen wondered how to use the Poison skill to kill the scorpion since the scorpion was a poisonous creature if it stung him then it would cause a lot of pain so he was wary of it at that moment he saw the poison skill which was flashing on his system in front of his eyes as if the system has understood that he wanted to use the poison skill.

[Detected Host wants to use the poison skill.]

[Poison Skill Information transferred to Host]

[Information transfer complete]

Hansen felt as if he automatically got the knowledge of how to use the poison skill so he just looked at the scorpion from where he was standing and then there was a purple ray of light that flashed and hit the scorpion and the scorpion turned over and started to scatter and run towards a different direction.

Hansen wondered if he was even able to hit the target properly since after the scorpion was hit it just started to run away as if nothing happened to it but then there was a system notification that he could see.

[Target hit successful]

So after the system notification now he was sure that the scorpion was hit successfully with the poison but why was it still able to run?

So he studied the Poison skill carefully and read.

[ Skill: Cobra Poison,]

[Requirements: Since this is not the host's natural ability it requires 1 Mana to use every time for this skill.]

[Lethality level: Level 1. Once this poison hits the target the target will be dead within two hours.]

[Status: Locked. Note: To unlock this skill, The user needs to upgrade his mana stats.]

After looking at the description of the poison skill he understood that it takes at least two hours for a creature to die so naturally the scorpion was able to run at this point. Since the scorpion itself was quite a poisonous creature it might take more time to kill this creature.

So he just chased the scorpion and smashed it with a big rock as soon as he was able to get near it and killed it.

As soon as he killed it there was a system prompt in front of his eyes.

Hansen was surprised to see that after he killed the scorpion the lethality of the poison had increased and in the description it was mentioned that now it would take only five minutes for the target to be lifeless. So now the poison skill would not be that useless.

He also noticed that there were a few more scorpions that were roaming there in the jungle and he remembered he only needed forty more points to level up so he decided to kill the next scorpion. He looked towards the scorpion and there was a purple ray of light which flashed and hit the scorpion.

This time the scorpion was not able to run but started to struggle on its back as soon as it was hit by the purple light. Hansen observed the scorpion and saw that after five minutes of struggling the scorpion ceased moving and it died. Then there was a prompt on his system screen.

[Killed a scorpion, an ordinary-grade poisonous scorpion. Ten points awarded.]

[The next Level up requires thirty points]

He noticed that he got another ten points as he killed the scorpion however no new skill was detected or upgraded so that meant he needed to kill different beings to be able to get a new skill or upgrade. But at this point, he wanted to level up since there were a few more scorpions that were scattered in the jungle and it was an easy creature to kill. So he decided to kill the scorpion creatures which were there and level up.

[Killed a scorpion, an ordinary-grade poisonous scorpion. Ten points awarded.]

[The next Level up requires twenty points]

[Killed a scorpion, an ordinary-grade poisonous scorpion. Ten points awarded.]

[The next Level up requires ten points]

He saw the scorpions that were scattered there in the clearing and attacked them with poisonous purple rays that flashed from his eyes. Three of the scorpions were hit by the purple lights however the fourth hit was missed and due to the commotion the rest of the scorpions ran away in the jungle and hid themselves.

Hansen wanted to attack them and hunt more scorpions, however since his mana was already depleted he could not attack more but then there was a system prompt on his screen after the third scorpion was killed.
