Shadows Of Deceit

Juli beamed with joy as she presented the question to John, she was excited because Elara always told her that her fifteenth birthday would be the most shocking day of her life but Juli never really understood but she was happy after all she thought it was going to be a birthday surprise, little did she know that within the cocoon of Elara's body were malicious intents that could even make the likes of Lucifer shiver.

John himself didn't know what to do, he had lied to Juli all these years, keeping the truth about her mom deep within himself, surprisingly Elara assisted him with the lie making Mary's existence a fairytale as she manipulated the citizens of Britania, she gave the citizens all they wanted advancing everything within Britania which made the people happy, when they asked of Mary and James she would pretend to cry while making up stories of how they died that she was traumatized and all John could do was watch as his beloved Mary was slowly becoming a Myth but Myths are remembered, Mary was becoming a forgotten Myth which crushed John's heart, it made him despise human beings because they didn't care about others only themselves a very selfish set of animals.

While Juli held on to John's hand a figure from the opposite side of the hallway walked towards them, a figure with silver hair and siren eyes, it was no other than the beautiful Elara, Juli left John and ran up to Elara hugging her, after all, Juli viewed Elara as her mother since they lied to her, changing the story of Mary's death but as Elara muffled Juli's hair she stared at John and smiled, this made John's whole body tickle in fear, he went up and took Juli by the hand.

Elara for the past fourteen years wasn't doing nothing of course, she had changed all the royal knights to unknown people, people who weren't even from Britania, and she had hidden all the remains of James and Mary deep within the walls of the palace.

She turned the royal palace and family of Britania to an irony as it harbored nothing from Britania except Juli, she has taken everything from Juli, even her birthright of being the princess when she took Juli out her guards and maids would distribute rumors which would go on to say Juli was adopted or picked from the streets since Juli didn't have the eyes of Britanian royalty they all believed it but Juli didn't notice anything different because she didn't know what different was, Elara didn't let her learn princess etiquette, in fact, Juli didn't know if she was a princess or not, this made John's conscience hit him daily because he was fulfilling Mary's promise at the lowest output possible.

Elara left John and Juli , she then proceeded down the stairs leading to the dungeon as she went down her smile became even larger that it looked like a big malicious smirk, she finally reached her destination, she looked at the cell where Mary was tortured and murmured ''A child must be like the mother'' she said in a tone filled with evil intentions, she walked up to the guards ''Hope everything is ready'' the guards nodded in response to Elara, ''Good once it's 7 start the surprise'' she said and left back to the floors of the palace, as she got up in the hallways she met John standing there ''John my love'' she quoted Mary's words ''Shut up you bastard, your nothing like her and will never be like her'' Elara smiled ''Of course I can't be like her, your not the first person to tell me this after all I've been hearing it from the day I was born.

''As for Juli get ready to watch season two and the title is your second fail as a Kight'' John went up to her and held her shoulder ''If one finger is laid on Juli, I will tear you down from robe to flesh to bone Elara I swear on my life I will make you wish you were never born Elara so don't taunt me'' Elara flicked his hands off her shoulder ''well don't worry no finger will be laid on her, multiple hands will, hahaha also, guards!! take this thing and only bring him when it's time, for he must watch his beloved's offspring get offed''.

They kicked John in the tummy and carried him down to the dungeon, Juli, on the other hand, was in her beautiful room adorned with glorious royal architecture playing with her teddy bear and brewing some tea to drink, then knocks seemed to hit her door so she went up to it and opened it, it was Elaraa ''Juli smiled and hugged her but covered her nose'' She looked up ''Mom where have you been'' Juli asked, ''Oh i had to go to the dungeon to distribute some info to the guards'' Juli chuckled ''because your smelling'' Elara ruffled her hair ''Dont worry one day i'll give you a tour and experience of the dungeon'' Juli screamed in joy happily little did she know this tour was closer than she thought.

Within the deep underground of the palace was John sitting on a chair with spike filled armrests and leg rests which he was forced to rest on, he was bleeding as the spikes pierced his skin, the guards smacked his face in intervals, John looked at his life and smiled ''what an irony, I was once a guard but now I'm being guarded'' he let out a loud laugh but the laugh didn't stop he just kept laughing because he couldn't take this pain anymore hiding years of lies from the one he loved and vowed to protect to the one who showed him love it was like a love flow but the water which flows through it, will soon be quenched, dried and remove from the plane of human existence.

While in Juli's room...

''Tomorrow your big surprise will happen by 7 am be ready and dress well for tomorrow will be your best memory'' Juli jumped up and hugged Elara ''thank you Mom'' Elara smiled and walked out of the room while forming a smirk, then a smile burst out into laughter ''AH GOD, MARY ISN'T IT NICE TO FINALLY WATCH ME DESTROY WHAT YOU BIULT YOU INPUDENT PIECE OF TRASH!''
