Bertha's fear.

As it turns out, while Edgar was observing everyone, his main focus was still on Bristol.

He believed that although Bristol was somewhat arrogant, he still had some real skills!

If Bristol took the initiative to go get the key, then he must have noticed some clues and deduced that there was no danger in the box.

So as soon as Bristol spoke up, Edgar quickly interrupted him and took the easy task into his own hands.

Edgar hugged himself tightly and walked shakily towards where the first small box containing the key was hanging.

The small box containing the key was rectangular, with two small circles at the bottom.

These two circles were each made up of four iron pieces, probably just the right size for an adult man's wrist to fit through.

Through the glass, the key could be seen suspended in the middle of the box by a thin thread.

The thread was extremely thin, as if it would break with the slightest pull.

Edgar stood at the bottom of the box, extended his fingers, and gently pushed one of the iron pieces, finding that it could be pushed open.

This discovery made Edgar overjoyed, indeed it was a bonus.

"Thank goodness I took the task of getting the key before Bristol could, otherwise he would have stolen the spotlight again."

Edgar thought to himself, feeling pleased, and a proud smile spread across his face!

The audience in the live streaming room had already been dissatisfied with Edgar's previous actions, and now seeing him so pleased, they began to flood the chat with criticism!

[Look at his smug look, what's so great about getting a bonus key!]

[Exactly, it's just a bonus key, why is he so excited!]

[Bristol is the reliable one, he passes levels based on his real abilities!]

[I thought this was a trap set by Billy, but turns out it's really a bonus!]

[Yeah, I'm also puzzled, how did Billy suddenly become so generous this time?]

In the room, Edgar reached his right hand into the position where the iron pieces were, just enough to reach the tail end of the key.

But with the thin thread securely tying the key, he couldn't simply pull it down with his right hand.

So he stood on his tiptoes, reached his left hand in as well, and firmly grasped the key with both hands, exerting all his strength to pull the key down!

Billy Doll glanced at Edgar, a hint of disdain flashing in his eyes, before quickly shifting his gaze back to Bristol.

It seemed that in the entire room, only Bristol was worthy of his attention!

Although the people in the room didn't notice Billy Doll's subtle movements, the millions of viewers in the live streaming room saw everything clearly!

[Oh my, is Bristol being specially targeted by Billy?]

[A superstar is about to fall, poor Bristol!]

[It's over, it's over, Bristol is done for! He's actually caught the devil's eye!]

[I never expected that someone could actually pique Billy's interest!]

[I, the esteemed 99th level VIP, bet my reputation that Bristol will meet a gruesome end soon!]

"I've got it!"

In the room, Edgar tightly grasped the key in his hand, a hint of triumph flashing across his face as he chuckled.

The people nearby all smiled when they saw this.

Since entering the Death Tower, this was the first time they had effortlessly obtained a key.

"Ah!"

Suddenly, a scream erupted from Edgar's mouth!

They saw veins bulging on Edgar's face, and his eyeballs seemed to bulge uncontrollably!

Bright red blood spurted out from the box, splattering across Edgar's face.

His already contorted face now looked even more grotesque!

Blood continued to gush out, crimson liquid flowing down his forearm, staining his sleeve entirely red!

In just a few seconds, this blood turned into red ice bars, hanging on Ervin's clothes.

The room was instantly filled with the smell of blood.

[Retribution, Billy, well done!]

[Wasn't it said to be a gift? Why was there a trap?]

[This is a death game, not a walk in the park. You think you can easily get the key without losing an arm or a leg?]

[This scum, he's finally about to kick the bucket!]

[I told you, there's no such thing as a free lunch in this world! If you want the key, you'll have to exchange it with your hand!]

The audience in the live streaming room watched the bloody scene of Edgar without an ounce of pity, feeling rather exhilarated!

Inside the room, Edgar kept wailing in agony.

"Help me! Please, someone help me!"

The sensation of those sharp iron blades piercing into his wrist was excruciating, and Edgar couldn't bear it!

Ann looked towards the distant figure of Edgar, a hint of fear flashing in her eyes!

Though she didn't know what was happening, she understood that it must be something extremely terrifying, otherwise Edgar wouldn't be screaming so miserably!

At that moment, Bristol spoke to everyone:

"Let's go, let's go over and see."

Ann hesitated upon hearing this, a struggle visible on her face!

She didn't want to go, fearing she might get involved with Edgar and experience some cruel and bloody ordeal!

After some internal struggle, Ann finally decided to follow Bristol to see what had happened to Edgar!

"After all, with Bristol around, even if there's any danger, I can hide behind him!

And now, among all the players in the room, he's the only one who might make it out of the Death Tower. I must stick close to him if I want to survive!"

A firm resolve flashed in Ann's eyes as she thought to herself.

Then, she and Bertha each supported Arlene, who was staggering, and walked forward!

"Let's go check it out too."

Ervin, seeing everyone else heading over, said to his girlfriend beside him.

Then, he tightly wrapped one arm around his girlfriend's shoulders, the two of them leaning on each other as they walked towards where the elite man was.

"What's going on here?"

As they got closer, everyone finally saw the horrifying state of Edgar, and Ervin, with a hint of fear in his eyes, asked.

"I don't know, I just wanted to retract my hand, but I didn't expect to be cut by those iron pieces!"

Edgar's face twisted in pain, his eyes filled with horror and despair as he said:

"My hand is now firmly stuck in the box. I feel that if I try to pull it back even a little, those sharp iron pieces will cut my artery!"

Blood continued to gush out, and the ice bars on Edgar's arms grew thicker and thicker, gradually turning into a dark red color.

Looking at Edgar's hands trapped in the box, Bertha's face suddenly turned pale, a hint of fear creeping into her eyes.
