Chapter 17: Are You Happy Now?

It had been a week since the club and I found myself in a more frustrated situation.

Not only had I been thinking about Ellie Collins, but I also couldn’t get the girl from Moonlit Mirage out of my mind.

However, I had to focus now. I was in class, and the last person I needed to associate with that memory was speaking.

I interlaced my fingers and leaned forward in my chair, watching intently as Ellie Collins delivered her presentation. The speeches were going to take up every class session for at least three weeks considering that each one had to be at least twenty minutes.

I was very much aware of how the majority of university students detested giving presentations. Even the ones that were outgoing and not the least bit shy tended to detest the assignment.

Most students seemed to hate it, but not Ellie Collins. She seemed to thrive with the assignment.

She wasn't just bright. She had more interesting perspectives than many of the men and women who worked for me.
