The Toys and Dolls of Ann

The expressions of Qin Haochen and Qin Qianyi suddenly changed.

They quickly replayed the words spoken by Ann in their minds.

The kitchen would catch fire, burning fiercely, and the only human cub in the Bay Villa was Ann, Qin Sui'an.

They exchanged a glance, and in the next second, Qin Qianyi immediately ran towards the castle, saying, "Dad, I'll go check the kitchen."

"Be careful," Qin Haochen held Ann tightly in his arms and retreated to the entrance of Bay Villa, maintaining a certain distance from the castle.

They didn't know if the words relayed by Ann, spoken by the big white goose, would come true, but they wouldn't risk Ann's life to test their validity.

Feeling her daddy's unstable emotions, Qin Sui'an raised her little face.

Seeing her daddy's anxious expression, she quickly reached out her small hand and gently patted his chest, her soft and tender voice saying, "Daddy, are you feeling unwell? Ann can walk by herself."

Qin Sui'an thought it was because she was too heavy, and her daddy had been carrying her all this time, which made him uncomfortable.

"Daddy is fine, Ann, don't worry," Qin Haochen whispered to her, while quickly moving away from the castle.

With one hand securely holding Ann, Qin Haochen took out his phone with the other hand and made a call to He Yan, instructing, "He Yan, prepare a car!"

His tone was extremely serious as if something major had happened.

He Yan was still busy "firing" the old employees who opposed Qin Haochen in the study on the second floor.

When he heard Qin Haochen's words, he was momentarily stunned: Where does Mr. Qin want to go? Today's entire schedule had been canceled due to Miss An'an's arrival.

Qin Haochen didn't answer He Yan's question.

He just wanted to take Ann far away from the dangerous place.

There was still danger in Bay Villa.

He Yan quickly realized that he had spoken out of turn and quickly changed his words, "Yes, Sir!"

Hastily delegating the remaining tasks to other employees of the company, He Yan rushed downstairs and entered the garage at the fastest speed, driving out Qin Haochen's frequently used Lincoln car.

The car accurately stopped in front of Qin Haochen.

Qin Sui'an looked at the car, then at her daddy, and asked in confusion, "Daddy, where are we going?"

Qin Haochen sat in the back seat, holding Ann in his arms, fastening her seatbelt while softly saying, "It's time for lunch, Ann. We're going to eat outside."

"Okay!" Qin Sui'an obediently nodded her little head, then blinked her round eyes and asked, "Daddy, does that mean we won't eat the big white goose?"

"Yes, we won't eat the big white goose," Qin Haochen rubbed her little head, "We'll eat something else."

"Yay!" Qin Sui'an happily pursed her small lips, her short legs dangling in the air as she swayed joyfully.

Great! This way, the big white goose wouldn't have to cry anymore!

He Yan sat in the driver's seat, following the instructions of Qin Haochen, driving towards a luxurious restaurant.

He couldn't help but wonder why they needed to go to another restaurant when lunch was almost ready.

And what was this big white goose? Did Bay Villa have a big white goose?

Just then, He Yan heard another instruction from Qin Haochen:

"Make sure to keep an eye on the big white goose and don't let it leave Bay Villa."

After careful consideration, Qin Haochen decided that since Ann could understand what the big white goose said and she seemed to like it, it would be the goose's good fortune to temporarily keep it as Ann's pet.

As for why the big white goose "spoke" about the castle catching fire and the cub being in danger, there would be plenty of time to observe and find out in the future.

"Yes, Sir!" He Yan didn't hesitate and immediately conveyed Qin Haochen's instructions, making sure the villa's bodyguards kept an eye on the big white goose.

The car smoothly left Bay Villa.

Meanwhile, in the castle's kitchen…

The two head chefs, ten assistant chefs, and several servants stood in a neat line, bowing their heads in silence, trembling with fear.

"You are all experienced employees, how could you make such a mistake? If I hadn't come to inspect, the kitchen would have caught fire, wouldn't it?"

Qin Qianyi stood in front of them, his expression so unpleasant for the first time.

He scanned them with a gloomy gaze, then turned to instruct the nearby bodyguard, "Check the surveillance footage carefully, see if someone is trying to cause trouble in Bay Villa."

"Yes, Master Qianyi!" The bodyguard immediately went to carry out the task.

Qin Qianyi looked at them coldly and said, "Until the investigation is complete, no one is allowed to leave this place."

With those words, he turned and walked out of the castle, heading towards the garden.

Several bodyguards stood near a cluster of flowers where a big white goose was hiding.

As he approached, they all spoke in unison, "Master Qianyi."

"Did my daddy ask you to keep an eye on it?"

Qin Qianyi pointed to the cluster of flowers.

One of the bodyguards respectfully replied, "Yes, Master Qianyi."

Qin Qianyi pondered for a moment, then raised his hand and gestured, "You can guard outside the garden."

The bodyguards simultaneously agreed, "Yes, Master Qianyi."

Once they had moved a bit further away, Qin Qianyi approached the cluster of flowers, lowering his voice and asking, "Big white goose, how did you know the kitchen would catch fire?"

Hidden within the flowers, the big white goose curled up into a white oval ball, burying its long neck in its own white feathers.

Upon hearing the human speaking to it, it revealed its head, its small eyes peering through the gaps in the flowers, and let out a "honk".

Qin Qianyi scratched his ear and muttered to himself, "I can't understand. What is it honking about?"

Why could Ann understand it?

Was it because of Ann's pair of silver bracelets?

Qin Qianyi raised his hand and examined his undamaged fist.

If he hadn't witnessed it with his own eyes, he would never have believed that a pair of ordinary silver bracelets could possess such great power.

The big white goose hiding in the flower cluster before him had even more extraordinary abilities, almost like foreseeing the future.

And all of this was connected to Ann.

Qin Qianyi learned from the bodyguards that Ann had gone out for lunch with their dad.

With nothing else to do, he sat cross-legged next to the flower cluster, closely guarding the big white goose, while waiting for Ann and their daddy to return home.

Qin Qianyi waited, from noon until nightfall.

After Qin Haochen finished lunch with Ann in the restaurant, they also went to the mall and bought some toys and dolls that Ann liked.

A Lincoln entered the Bay Villa, followed by ten trucks filled with today's acquisitions.

He Yan was the first to get out of the car, carefully escorting Qin Haochen and Miss An'an into the castle, and then busily arranging the toys and dolls for Miss An'an...filling up all ten trucks.

After spending the whole afternoon in the mall, even though Qin Sui'an didn't have to walk herself and was carried by her daddy the entire time, she was still exhausted and fell asleep immediately.

Qin Haochen gently held the sleeping Ann in his arms, reluctant to put her down, and walked slowly on the first floor of the castle.

He wore Bluetooth earphones, and the bodyguard's report came through the earphones.

"…Sir, everyone involved in this matter has been detained, and the big white goose is still in the garden. Master Qianyi is personally guarding it."

Qin Haochen lowered his gaze slightly, concealing the seriousness in his eyes.

If it weren't for Ann being able to understand the big white goose's words, what the big white goose said might have actually happened.

Qin Haochen lowered his voice and instructed the bodyguard on the other end of the earphones, "Tell Fujia to come home immediately."

His eldest son, Qin Fujia, had been in seclusion for three years.

Perhaps, when faced with these inexplicable phenomena, Fujia would have a different perspective.
