Heart Aching

"Ten…Tenth circle?"

Qin Qianyi awkwardly touched his nose, thinking that he had hidden his thoughts well, but it turned out that even three-and-a-half-year-old Ann couldn't be deceived.

"Well, actually, I…" Qin Qianyi couldn't resist Ann's curious gaze.

He squatted down, leaning closer to her ear, and whispered softly, "Ann, I want to go upstairs and eavesdrop on Daddy and Eldest Brother's conversation."

"Eavesdrop?!"

Qin Sui'an widened her eyes even more.

"Sixth Brother, that's not good."

"No, no, it's not eavesdropping," Qin Qianyi changed his wording to something more tactful.

"We'll just stand outside and listen, without Daddy and Eldest Brother finding out. It doesn't count as eavesdropping."

Qin Sui'an looked at her Sixth Brother in confusion, as if saying, "Doesn't that still count?"

Qin Qianyi looked at Ann's innocent and clear eyes and found himself unable to say another word.
