"Um... goodnight, daddy~" Qin Sui'an completely relaxed and soon fell asleep leaning against her father's sturdy arm.
Qin Haochen adjusted her position and carefully tucked her in, his gaze full of tenderness as he looked at her peaceful sleeping face. "Goodnight, Ann."
Qin Sui'an slept until she naturally woke up.
Outside the window, the bright sun reminded her it wasn't early anymore.
In the bedroom, she was alone. Her father had woken up earlier than her. On the bedside table was a laptop with its screen lit, but her father wasn't there; it seemed he had just left recently.
Qin Sui'an lingered in the warm bed for a while longer before slowly crawling out and heading to the bathroom.
Below the sink was a small step stool convenient for her to use. She skillfully positioned the stool and climbed up, brushing her teeth and washing her face with a towel.
Qin Haochen estimated that little one would probably be waking up soon, so he went downstairs to prepare milk.
