Qin Haochen's expression was serious, his brows slightly furrowed. Suddenly, he recalled something. "Zhaosi and I visited your temple before."
Qin Fujia knew this; they had gone to the temple when he hadn't yet gone up the mountain. However, he didn't understand why his father brought it up now.
Qin Haochen seemed lost in thought, emotions flickering across his face. After a moment, he didn't continue with that line of thought but looked at Qin Fujia and said, "It's getting late; you should rest."
Qin Fujia wanted to ask something but swallowed his curiosity. "Dad, you should rest early too."
He got up and left the study. Turning back, he noticed his father still seated, showing no sign of leaving. Qin Fujia closed the study door again and went upstairs to his room.
