A Tricky Case

Qin Lvzheng glanced at the time.

"I don't have time."

This case was extremely complex and bizarre. He enjoyed challenging impossible cases to gain more advantages for his clients, so he took it on. However, the reality seemed more troublesome than he had anticipated.

As a lawyer, Qin Lvzheng should not refuse a client's request for a meeting, but after several conversations, he clearly knew that this client wasn't being truthful, leading him to feel frustrated.

The assistant, aware of the situation, hesitated and said, "Attorney Qin, the client says he won't leave if you don't show up."

"Then let him wait," Qin Lvzheng replied before hanging up the phone.

He turned to look at Ann, who was leaning against the floor-to-ceiling window. His irritation faded instantly, and a smile unconsciously crept onto his lips.

While Qin Lvzheng continued going through the materials, the assistant wore a troubled expression, reluctant to face the client in the reception area.
