A Sweet Moment

Just as she thought she was about to stumble, Tristan suddenly appeared, his arm encircling her waist.

“Are you alright?”

Cynthia responded, “I'm fine.”

“I'm sorry, I didn't bump into you, did I?”

The little girl's father looked apologetically at Cynthia.

Cynthia shook her head.

The girl's father smiled and then quickly walked towards his daughter, crouching down with a serious expression, reprimanding her, “Baby, didn't I tell you not to run around? If you don't listen, Daddy won't take you out anymore.”

“Daddy, I'm sorry.”

The little girl tugged at her father's sleeve, blinking her watery eyes.

“Daddy, I want to eat cotton candy, will you buy it for me?”

Unable to resist his daughter's coquetry, the father's stern expression softened.

“Alright, but you promise Daddy that you won't run around anymore.”

“Okay.”
